Fill in the blanks

Between the (effective) demise of Muscle Media and the rise of T-mag, I didn’t really have access to any hard core training info. But i remember back in about 1998, just before MM2K softed out, there were 2 ideas floating around. I was hoping someone could fill me in on what became of these two trends.

  1. Dan Duchaine was using ephedrine as a nutrient partitioning agent on bulking cycles, apparently with great success. I know that ephedrine can decrease insulin sensitivity, but was this the only reason the idea doesn’t seem to be practised today?
  2. Andro products were being used in conjunction with tribulus, on the premise that increased LH production would increase conversion rates. has this been disproved?
