This might be a silly question, but do you count fiber as a carb. I read the answer in a reader mail, but that was towards a low carb diet. I fallow beredi’s don’t diet plan, so say an apple has 17 grams of carbs, and 3 of those are fiber… Do you say it has 14?.. And what for those science buffs out there, I’d really really apreciate an reason why.
I also read that fiber might coat so to speak food, and prevent digestive enzymes from breaking down some of the macronutrients… If this is the case, wouldn’t it be wise to avoid fiber with P+F meals?
