I believe colon cleanse products are psyllium. When taking psyllium, you must drink tons tons tons TONS of water with it. Try a soluble fiber supplement instead, like Fibersure.

Coffee is a great laxative.

but how can i drink coffee on the v-diet i thought u can only have shakes?
you can have black coffee, just no cream/ sugar.

Milk of Magnesia…lol. Makes you poop everything out in like 20 minutes.

Bushy is quite hot.

I might just do the colonic since they say it will help you lose 10 lbs of water weight
I don’t understand why you’d do a colonic instead of an enema. Enemas work and they’re a heck of a lot cheaper.

I bet you will NOT lose 10 lbs of water weight given that you have already been on the V-diet. Besides, even if a colonic caused weight loss, it’s not the kind of weight that matters when you look in the mirror.

I was just going to recommend this. It is seriously great stuff.

Hahahaha what’s the ‘gay handshake’?

Dear Forum Members,

This may sound gross and un-lady-like. However, It has been 3 days since i have used the b-room and have been very irregular ( if u know what i mean). The Colon Cleanse Fiber Supplement has not helped, if anything just made it worse. tomorrow is wk 3 and its like yo, I don’t know what to do. This is unnecessary water weight that I am holding on to. This is probably why my weight has not been coming down anymore. Anyone on the V-diet with substitutions for stomach cleansing products, Please let me know. This is not good

Thanks
Try this, and dont do it unless you have atleast two hours to kill. 1 litre of spring water, and 4-6 teaspoons of sea salt. Plug nose if you cant handle it and chug. You’ll be pissing out your ass in no time, it will actually feel like a washing machine working in your stomach, aswell as cleaning your digestive tract out somewhat.

Milk of Magnesia works a treat, probably the best laxative I have ever tried.

Easy now!

Yeah I’ve been to the states. Flew into LA (strange city - I slept in the bunk below a guy who was the stalker of Tori Spelling),…
Prison cell?

Two suggestions:
V8 - lots of it

or even more effective

V8 Frusion Light - lots of it

Is the cleanse one that lasts for several weeks or just one of those that lasts a few days? I know several people who dislike the results from the fiber cleanses that only last a few days. I worked for a nutrishop and one of our biggest sellers was the detox. It is a cleanse that is mild and lasts 4-6 weeks depending on what dosage you choose to take it at. I attached a pic, sorry I don’t have the nutrition facts.

I searched online but only found the pic. If I find an empty bottle somewhere I will post it. I know it has its source of fiber as well as milk thistle for the liver and a whole bunch of other things that are supposed to help with other organs as well. I only used it once and dropped about 5-6lbs over the course of 6 weeks and still had caps left over. Many of the users claim at least the same results, some better. If nothing else is working for you, you can give it a try. I know they are sold at Nutrishops, I haven’t searched for it online. It’s made by Nutek. Max Muscle might carry it also due that nutrishop and max muscle carry the same products. Hope this helps!

Taco Bell gets the ol’ exhaust goin like nobody’s business.

Probiotics? That should at least help restore your GI tract to a reasonable state. I think all the emphasis on fiber is a bit exaggerated, because it won’t actually fix what’s wrong with you. And constipation means that something’s not right. I’m no expert, but restoring your intestinal critters should be a good start.

i think you may have “psyllium syndrome”. you can get it if your not used to psyllium and start taking a lot of it. try drinking a lot of water and then cap off the day with some senna tea. it worked for me, hopefully it will work for you.

theres some info on “psyllium syndrome” here:

I third this recommendation and my grandpa fourths it. Stuff is the make-a-deuce king. Plus it’s not a “spring cleaning” type of deuce.

Are you eating the flax meal??? The flax meal should be getting you 20g’s of fiber if you are eating enough.

Although it’s been mentioned a couple of times already, it’s important to reiterate that drinking a ton of water is necessary if you’re taking a bunch of psyllium every day. The epsom salt idea would be good for short term, just to get rid of the past several day’s worth, but don’t be doing that every day. Just go on as before, but drink more water.

Prune juice anyone?
