There’s at least one in every crowd! I really appreciate the supportive comments and thank you so much BEAR BORN and DoubleDuce for defending a little girl  I was really psyched about this lift! I am not a raw lifter, yet have never been so strong raw as I have been lately!

My next meet is in Columbus OH in October. It’s the semi-finals for the 2013 Arnold. I am a geared lifter currently and am very excited about how my strong raw now is going to really push my geared lifting coming up!! There will be 600 on this back soon!!

Be strong y’all!!
Great lift. If I recall correctly, Mike Ruggeira trained at that gym before moving to Columbus to train at West Side?

I train at Lexen and I’ll be at the XPC Semi Finals in some fashion (either lifting or helping) so I’ll come introduce myself. Bear Born are you going to be there?
Thank you. And YES! Mike did lift at Hercules. I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person though I’ve spoken to him via Facebook a few times and he is a legend spoken of often in the gym!

And Bear Born had better be at that meet too!! Though he isn’t lifting.

HAH! for the record I didn’t defend you, I was merely reflecting on the mental processes and possible empathy of certain types of people.

I would have been more tempted to defend the “little girl” if I didn’t think you could kick their ass.

Awesome lifting. It would be awesome if this turned into a “how you train” thread. You are strong, without qualification.

That is a very good squat, well done.

Easy! Awesome squat. Legs are freaking impressive. What gear do you squat in?

I’m 6’4" 270 and just squatted 4 plates for the first time the other day.

Thanks for making me feel inadequate.

I started out in multi ply, did single ply last year, back to multi this year. I am hoping to maybe do a raw meet next year too.

And no one should feel inadequate. I’m 5’2" with short legs even for a short person. I’m practically cheating, lol

I’m 5"0 and I’m like 300lbs off your squat, ha-ha! Inspiration you are to me!

awesome Rheta, still setting the bar high !!!

That is so gross.

Don’t recall anyone asking for your opinion Caltene. How much do YOU squat?

you’re so rich and manly

Insane squat. Obviously depth is not adequate for stricter federations but really impressive lifting. Would love to watch her lift raw to really showcase her power.

You are entitled to your own opinion, even if it’s wrong.

So how much ya squat?

Lol I remember this guy now! I had forgotten all about him. This was the dude who wasn’t impressed with Dizenzo’s 405 standing, strict overhead press.

This guy has got to be the ultimate badass.

Also congratulations on your squat miss, although it makes me sad to see you gravitating towards all that lifting gear… But I guess that gives you more people to compete against in addition to raw lifing, so good luck!
