Feeling Cool While Training

hi,
i’m posting on my boyfriend’s account. i noticed lately that when i work out outside (aerobic and anaerobic), the major heat releasing parts of my body become really quite cool to the touch. these areas include my legs, antecubitals, parts of my shoulders, and especially my stomach.i still sweat a lot and it makes no difference if it’s windy or calm, hot and humid or cool and dry. i was wondering if i need to be concerned or if anyone else has had this problem.

Hey, im not 100% sure but my first guess would be poor circulation? Im a guy and it use to happen to me when i do any kind of cardio it could be hot and i could be sweating but my hands would be cold and my stomach too, but i started taking nitric oxide and i think it improved my circulation because last time i recall that dosent happen. Well atleast its a reply, hopefully it gives you some kind of information.

Mike

You could fry an egg on my body when I’m training.

Hell, you could slow cook a pot roast on me overnight when I’m sleeping too!

whats the diet like, are you in somewhat of a caloric restriction? could you give more details?
how much water do you drink?

this is probably a vascular issue as someone else mentioned. probably nothing to worry about unless you begin to notice any tingling or lightheaded sensations.

being cold could also be a function of how much body fat is held in those extremities and how much muscle is below them.

how long have you been training?

does it happen during training or after? cause im hot as hell sweating like a madman when im training. but by the time i get home my stomach usually feels very cool

don’t know, my antecubitals are always pretty warm. I was thinking about shaving them but thats gay.

well i’m not trying to restrict calories, but i am vegetarian so it’s sometimes hard for me to get good ammounts of protein, calories, and fat. i would say that i drink an average ammount of water. i have been training since 7th grade (college junior now). for the first several years i did mostly distance and weight trained like a total noob. then once i got into college (Division 1 track program-throws) i did more sprint training and hard core lifting.
i get the coldness during training. and it warms somewhat after. i still sweat like crazy during exercise too.

i dont want to plant any seeds, but i used to be vegan and had tremendous issues with always being freezing fucking cold.

i stopped because i always felt weak and froze - always-, once i began coming back to normal eating habits my heat shot up within a month.

may not be the same for you, may have been my diet was extremely low in calories or any specific macronutrient.

Yeah, you might want to consider adding meat to your diet. It’s great for increasing your metabolism and helping you meet your protein needs. If you’re not going to eat meat, you will want to get more protein in your diet through other sources (cottage cheese, protein supplements, etc.).

This is the first time I’ve seen antecubitals mentioned on this site.

Don’t worry, when you hit puberty they’ll drop and grow hair

How far down will it drop, all the way to my wrist, or only half way down my forearm?
