I have never heard of M-1 before, but it looks like we won’t get to see Fedor in the UFC.
How old is he? Has he made enough money? Is he done?
Yawn.
That completely sucks.
damn
M-1 is (was) owned by his manager. They sold the company to a yet unnamed American and in the process struck a deal for fedor.
I would assume he is getting big cash to help lift M-1 off the ground. I don’t see how their competition would be the same caliber as UFC’s.
This is one of the lamest things I’ve ever heard. What a waste.

Lame you say? What if I told you if that un-named American buyer is none other than ultimate sportsfan,Mark Cuban. Im happy that Fedor signed to this promotion, after he signs,Barnett and Hunt will soon follow suit and before long the M-1 Organization will have enough good fighters to stand againts the UFC. Not only that,Couture just retired from the UFC and we might hear from him to join aswell and the long awaited match between Fedor and Couture will actually happened. I have coinfident that Cuban will do a great job at organizing M-1.

Mark Hunt isn’t going to the UFC either? Thats lame too.
Like it or not the UFC is where its at. M-1 is no where near as big. I’ll be surprised if Randy joins it, but hey everyone wants to see him vs Fedor so who knows?
This smacks of WFA…

From what I just read at UFC.com, that doesn’t seem likely. Quote from Dana White:
“As we all know, Randy retired before. The landscape in MMA changes every day. So when he is ready to come out of retirement again, he is still under contract with me, and I??m ready to promote him.”
Randy is still under contract, even if he wants to fight elsewhere.

Only for nine more months. With a broken arm and filmimg a movie, the timeline would work out for him to come back into the sport to fight Fedor in M-1. Dana got uber-pwned, and is spinning damage control as much as he can.

At this point the Cuban rumor is nothing more than that, a rumor.
As a matter of fact, Frank Trigg, who broke the Fedor to M-1 news last week, is saying that the mystery buyer is NOT Mark Cuban or former PrideUSA boss Ed Fishman. Given that he nailed this news before anyone else, I am inclined to believe him.
