Fedor- Baddest Man on the Planet

Show me 1 other pre-UFC1 bare-knuckled NHB MMA tournament that had the same exposure and I’ll agree with you. Are they saints? No. Are they trying to make a living and share their art with the rest of us? Yes. Would you do the same if you lived in a 3rd world country and had 17 sons to support and something unique to offer the world? You bet your ass you would. UFC is not the only MMA promotion but they are the promotion that pays the highest, but for some reason they wont give Fedor what he wants. Would a football player, or any other professional athlete, sign a contract they didnt agree with? No, this happens all the time and people dont get all twisted about it. EVERYONE WANTS TO SEE FEDOR vs LESNAR! This is nothing new. Fedor is not the baddest man on the planet. There is always a bigger, meaner, more skilled people out there. No telling how many men in prisons or otherwise unknown to the world that could hand him his ass as well as the rest of the “pfp top fighters”, not to mention all the trainers and coaches that are out there.

you truly are one stupid fuck

Everyone always wants the title or wants to give the title of the baddest though. Until someone actually beats Fedor inside a ring or an octagon he is the best, the baddest, whatever you wanna call it…he’s the shit.

Personally when I first started watching him, somewhere around his 15th fight, I had a tendency of underrating him because he didn’t have this body like a greek god that I expected that matched his hand speed and his toughness, yes I know that isn’t a solid view point to have but it was just an association.

Good points though on the making money admbaum, I will agree with you on that. But I’ll have to reiterate the point I made, until someone actually does hand him his ass within the boundaries of the ring I think that title is deserved or should at least be considered for him.

Struggling with facts are we? I know, deep conversation for shallow minds. If you cant give me a reason why you disagree, why even bother insulting me? I dont know if you are fanboi’ing Fedor, the UFC, or are generally devoid of making a coherent thought. Which one is it? Maybe you are just trying to flame? I dont know, but if you cant contribute to the conversation any more than pre-school cut downs, maybe you should not post anything at all.

You are stating UNTRAINED convicts could beat a trained MMA fighter in a ring… Perhaps on the street, in an alley, what have you. Not in the ring. That was the only issue I had with your post.

Hell, I can beat Fedor, with a shotgun

LOL.

And I’d still shoot two or three times, just to make sure.

Would you be allowed to take a shotgun in the ring? You are ASSUMING I mean untrained fighters, because trained fighters never go to prison right?

Fedor isn’t the biggest, sure as hell isn’t the meanest, but you’d be hard pressed to find someone with his skill set, intelligence, and work ethic inside a ring. To suggest someone is going to just step in there and “hand him his ass” is a little on the foolish side, get lucky maybe but not hand him his ass. He may get caught but only time will tell…and honestly I don’t think there is another “pfp top fighter” who has the combination of everything that he does.

CroCop nearly did (lost by decision), and he isnt even on the top 10 pfp list at all. In fact, Fedor is pfp#3 behind A.Silva and GSP. A win is a win, but seriously, he’s just a man. Man is fallible and everyone has a punchers chance. I have tons of respect for the guy as an MMA fighter and as a submission grappler. The guy has all kinds of skills, but he is beatable. Maybe not by Lesnar, but Lesnar’s size is a huge advantage for him regardless of his opponents skill level. Mir is no slouch but lost to him because of his size.

And Irish, I am allowed to defend my opinion.

Iron Mike Tyson was never a champion and never in prison right?

[quote]admbaum wrote:

And when he came out, he was a much shittier fighter.

Your point is what? That an untrained violent criminal who is used to street violence could defeat Fedor in a ring match with gloves and rules?

Silly arguments are fun!

Crocop lost by decision when he was in his prime. Don’t forget Nogueira lost to him on separate occasions by decision as well. To suggest someone “nearly did” hand him is ass is stupid, especially since he still won the bout.

Do you really need me to answer that?

All I’m saying is, Fedor is not “the baddest man on the planet”. No one is. I said this in another thread, but until there is a multi-promotion, multi-combat sport (boxing, kickboxing, and MMA) tournament, there can be no “baddest man on the planet”. People that label fighters as such are more influenced by marketing, which is good for the sport(s), but come on. Thats a bold claim. Especially for someone ranked lower in mma than A.Silvia, who will lose to Forrest Griffen this weekend (fingers crossed).

EDIT: you beat me to it… in so many words

Fedor destroyed Cro Cop and at the time he was considered one of the best and was the most feared striker in mma. Believe it or not you can win by decision and still win decisevely. Also mma rankings are stupid journalists come up with them there is no real way to say who is truly the best.
