^ not bad… it also seems to have made you more tan.
I’m definitely going to give it a shot. It seems like you used it as a jump start. I am trying a different approach (I’m not sure if it’s right or not, but worth a try I guess). I plan to keep cutting (basically 1/24-4/1) and then hit the V diet as a boost in April. I will use May as the final clean-up month. I will likely look like Frank Zane then by June 1st :).
Thanks for posting your experience and results. I will be keeping my updates in my training log and look forward to the next check-in.
On a side note, I will be paying close attention to my FUCKING shirt so that it does not appear to be a mother-fucking One Direction or Need Dick shirt (FUCK!).

Lol, it’s just the lighting. I took the before pics in the morning when it was brighter. Overall I don’t think the pictures show a whole heck of a lot of change. That said I’ll have to take measurements because I’m sure I’ve lost at least an inch or two off the waist.
This wasn’t necessarily a spring board to anything. It was really just an experiment to see how quickly the fat would come off. I’ve never really dieted before, but now I know I’m still 4-6 weeks away from where I’d like to be.

Okay I’ll play. Here’s me, bodyweight 166 this morning, I’m back to about the leanest I’ve ever been but about 5 pounds heavier than last time and significantly stronger. Recent PR’s include 350 pound bench, 425 squat and 555 deadlift. Going to compete in my first PL meet in July.
Damn that bench at that weight in that condition… great work man

what’s happened to your motivation?
Well im still hitting the gym with the same frequency just dont have the same exitement when I go. Some people may say this is a defeatest attitude, but I can only see myself making minimal progress with optimal nutrition and exercise and the effort it takes to do that is not something I have as much as a passion for. Im just okay with maintaining what I have and being less rigid with everything. I have complete respect and am impressed with the guys that can go that way though I just dont have that same desire anymore which I am okay with.

Hey thanks a lot man! You’re still looking awesome as well… I hear you on the motivation thing, I go through phases of that too, key seems to be making the diet fairly easy and flexible, and finding a workout program that makes you really enjoy being in the gym.

Thanks, my diet has definitely been flexible haha. From wal-mart to gas station to McDonalds. I’m lucky I can get away with that as much as I do. But I get you I just need to find something to make it more fun again.
