There are some freaks out there though. I remember this one guy when I was in the army. I cant say he had never trained beforehand, but I never saw him in the gym or anything. During the initial physical testing he did 34 pullups and also ran the 3k in 9 minutes. He was really light, 65 kg or something, but ripped to shreds, with veins sticking out everywhere. I always thought to myself “what if this guy started training seriously?”.
Bottom line is there are some genetic freaks out there. They are however extremely rare.
When I started training I couldnt even bench half my bodyweight, let alone do a pullup lol.

That’s the point, they are claiming this is average Joe, not some Superman.
As an aside, Andy Bolton says the first time he squatted he used 500lbs and first time deadlift was 600lbs! (so not double BW trolol).
Yeah true.
That is insane about Andy Bolton. Some people will train a lifetime and never reach those numbers he started out with.
I can guarantee no one has ever squatted 500lbs to depth the first time they ever squatted. Andy Bolton is either misquoted, a liar or counting some kind of 1/8 squat.
He wasn’t misquoted, so you are calling Andy Bolton a liar.

Haha in that article there is a typo that says he wants a 300 lb total

Me too, these serious threads are a drag.
My feat of strength–I went 6 days without porn! It’s go time! Grrrrrrrrrrrraawwwww!
Hit them all fairly easily except the farmers walk and bench.
Damn, farmer’s is hard! I picked them up fine and my grip felt like it was holding well, but the damn things tilted immediately the moment I moved. Gives me even more respect for strongmen.
I’m not sure what happened on the lockout of the first two bench press reps.
And I wasn’t aware my legs flop around like that on pullups.
Sorry about the shirtlessness, it was pretty freakin hot.
If anyone feels like it I’d certainly appreciate any criticism or advice!

He’s lying but I will say if he was 18 he probably really believes it. The memory of the typical 18 year old and their past feats of strength tends to be a wee bit on the comical side. My 20 year old nephew who has never trained with any regularity believes he squatted 275 when he was 16. I’m sure he probably worked out for a few weeks in a row and was starting to think he might be ready to half squat 185 but didn’t stick with it long enough. A couple years later his memory has him convinced it was two plates plus quarters on each side.
Yeah, AB probably squatted 350 his first time and his memory blew it up to 500 over time. There is a 5 in 350, after all.
That mother fucker is in africa!

I’ve gone 5 full hours of fucking without ejaculating. Really. I documented the effort in SAMA a year or two ago.

That wasn’t trolling, that was telling it straight. Nobody has ever squatted 500 the first time and memories of 18 year olds do get inflated.
Btw, I do believe it’s possible a total animal could deadlift 600 the first time.

and this is a guy wih genuine one in a BILLION genetics for weight lifting.
^^^^^
Are you the same guy that was getting a hard on arguing about the current Spanish squad being the best football side ever?
Damn, you’re an annoying SOB.
Lol at the concept of “game changer”.

Don’t empower him. Guawd!
I’m not saying he has the goods to back up his original statement - he doesn’t. I’m just saying I respect his willingness to actually post a video, mmmkay? LOL
