yesterday i saw a 160lb dude doing kickbacks with 20lb dumbbells. hardcore right there. naturally i asked if i could work in but i think he might have been intimidated by my sliced abs.
Whoa Whoa Whoa, it’s illegal to go over the 10 pounders call the gym police or hit the lunk alarm asap
I’d have to say it’s a three way tie between prone shrugs, scap depressions on the lat pulldown, and front squats. Holding the bar during back squats hurts my shoulder, hence the first 2 exercises.
Just kidding. It’s weird how many people in this thread just rediscovered the deadlift and squat? Some guy just rediscovered/just started eating food!!!
But to seriously answer, I recently picked up some blast straps from elitefts and am really liking them as a change to more standard freeweight exercises. Specifically i’ve been doing complexes of suspended pushups/chest flyes.
Good piece of equipment if you’re looking to cheaply add a bunch of exercise possibilities to a home gym and you have a sturdy squat rack.

overhead squats! i feel it right on the side delts and i could definetely be wider there!
I’ve never done that exercise, but just because you feel it there, doesn’t mean that place will grow. I really don’t see overhead squats helping your shoulder size much. I’d stick to presses and raises.
Doing 100 reps of lat raises with 15lb dumbbells sure will burn, but have fun adding size.
bent cable tricep extensions - because im using the whole stack + a 40 pound DB
deadlifts - because i can use more weight than anyone at my gym 455x3 (not saying much)
i dont do them that often but once in a while my ego needs to be stroked.

I’d go with glute ham raises. I’ve just recently figured out how to do them in my gym, and they’re pretty damn awesome.
Same here. They are my new favourite exercise and I can now do them without having someone support my legs - I have to use the lat machine as my gym has very few machines.
