Definitely bro! You stole mine, haha! Rage is my staple gym music on the Pod. Their self titled album is the best.

RATM
RHCP
Black Sabbath…
just to name a few, but something weird happened, all of a sudden I put on some Bob Marley, and it got me into a higher conciousness mood, and the rebellious nature of the music gave me a new kind of energy, sort of passive agressive.

it was either that, or the caffeine!

I personally like to listen to :

system of a down (alot of system of a down)
ramstein ( just duhast mainly )
drowning pool(let the bodies hit the floor)
some linkin park
Blood hound gang ( only discovery channel)

Right now the song I save for right before a rugby match is Dropkick Murphy’s Sailing Up to Boston from The Departed soundtrack.
I always listen to Flogging Molly in the gym.
Here’s somebody I can get along with if only for the sake of Flogging Molly and DKM. Both are good bands in my opinion, but having a bit of irish in my many other heritages that would be natural. Kiss my irish ass would be my fav of all the songs from both bands.

any good metal music, namely:

all that remains, chimaira, every time i die, fear factory, gojira, heaven shall burn, in flames, killswitch engage, LAMB OF GOD, meshuggah, metallica, mudvayne, pantera, rob zombie, slayer, slipknot, the dillinger escape plan, the haunted, tool, trivium, unearth

just to name a few…i have a playlist set up on my ipod just for getting pumped up (i used it during hockey season, got me to want to bury every kid on the other team) so it works well for lifting

You should definitely try out Rise Against, Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin, Papa Roach…

30 Seconds To Mars, Stone Sour, Shinedown and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus are some good ones too…
I like these plus Metallica and and some other heavier stuff

We listen to a mix of metal, techno, and hard rap.

But the song I set PR’s to is “Shine” by Rollins Band. That first riff alone is enough to get my adrenaline going.

Hard Gangster Rap or Hard Alternative…

The Game
50 Cent
3-6 Mafia
Nas
Breaking Benjamin
Chevelle
Rage Against the Machine
Rammstein
Nine Inch Nails

SERIOUSLY!! My thoughts exactly. Two thousand songs on my f-ing iPod and all I listen to are the 30 Rage songs on it, kind of a waste, but oh well.

Hmm im probably one of the few people that prefers not to listen to music when I work out. I like to think about my day and other things that are on my mind, music just distracts from this. Music also tends to disctract from my workout some also.

Godsmack
Korn
Limp Bizkit(surprisingly not mentioned yet)
Nine Inch Nails
Rage Agaisnt Machine
Powerman 5000
ROb Zombie
Saliva
Static-X
Tool
Disturbed

ya i would think to hear more metal bands rather than all the grindcore stuff… something like:
necrophagist - epitaph
anybody??

i mostly listen to lamb of god/burn the priest, some devildriver, hatebreed…

recently found glass casket to be good as well…

VICTOR CALDERONEEEE
MAURO PICOTTO
DAVID GUETTAA
DANNY TENAGLIAA
ERIC MORILLO

Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Manowar, Metallica, Pantera, Rammstein, Slayer

and others

my favorites right now are Pursuit of Vikings, and Cry of the Blackbirds by Amon Amarth
