OK, haven’t seen one of these in a while.
Mine’s pretty obvious.
I a big fan colossus because of his “slow to fight” attitude.

Batman. one reason was some of the storylines, when they were more dramatic and less “comic book” could be very serious, very real, and be about more than just beating up people. another reason was his villians (The Joker, The Riddler) were more evil and sadistic than the super-Ego, super-Powers “Look at my new metal suit with big cannons on the arms” villians of other comic books.
He was a real guy who had to get in shape, use his wits and not any powers, and had to learn from his mistakes, or die. granted, Superman was smart and Spiderman was a nerdy high school kid who learned to be a badass, but they also had super-human strength and powers to help them win. Spidey-sense? pshaw…Batman had to notice shit on his own or he’d get a cap popped in his ass!
HULK SMASH
Ironman,
He is legitamately the most realistic superhero. It is not that far fetched that humans could one day in the near future be donning armored suits with flying capabilities and energy weapons. He is cocky and cool, and having his abilities would be pretty sweet. Batman annoys the hell out of me. Don’t know why, perhaps it’s the 17 Batman movies of which only 3 have been good.
My close second goes to The Silver Surfer.

Silver Surfer is pretty cool. The whole idea of being able to travel through space without a ship is badass.

So far Ironman has a 100% good movie ratio 1/1 So we will have to see how #2 comes out. I think there were actually 6 or 7 Batman movies, so he is at like 50%. Again, it’s not really Batmans fault, but he gets way too much play. He is supposed to be the most realistic superhero because he doesn’t have any superpowers, but in the end, I just don’t buy it. In the Batman comics, he doesn’t fight supervillans, he fights freaks. Any real superhero would just totally mop up Batman in a second. At least Ironman could put up a good fight. Plus Ironman is more realistic.
For example, Fedor is the baddest man on the planet hand to hand combat wise. Yet I’m quite sure 3 regular guys would destroy him in a street fight. Batman routinely whips 3,4,5 guys at a time. Totally unbelievable with no super powers. Ironman would at least kill the hell out of 5 or 10 regular dudes in a second. He can fly, Has energy Weapons and can shed bullets with his armor.

Plus one. Colossus is a cool, calm, sincere nice guy who doesn’t show off - but when he unleashes his power gtfo of his way. Or you will be fuc*ed. Bad.
Bob Parr is right in my wheelhouse. I don’t give a fuck if he’s disney either. I know the Marvel/DC guys are thinking “blasphemy!!” right now but oh fuckin’ well.
Bobs’ middle aged, was tied down by the man, worked in a job he hated and sucked at, then found a way to be incredible again. Love the story, love the movie, and loved the workout montage of him pulling trains and shit.

True.
But, we saw a totally different Colossus in the AoA storyline. Hell, he ended up killing Kitty inadvertantly, because he lost his temper…

Ahhhh, I knew one of you fuckers would show up.
I thought she was lost in space from some crazy thing trin to split the earth open.
Plus, he sacrificed himself to cure all the mutants with the unstable cure Beast made.

The ambiguously gay duo. No homo.
Sabretooth
Batman, without a doubt.
Forget the whole ‘self made man’ stuff (which is inspirational on its own)… when I tell people he’s my favorite super hero, I always hear “but he doesn’t have super powers!”… well, lemme say that his super power is that he’s smarter than everyone else. Always 3 steps ahead… that’s a damn cool power if you ask me. Any obstacle?! He’ll always find a way to overcome… ALWAYS.

Spidey, because he’s just a nebbishy kid who got lucky. I can understand that.

I liked the Batman movies with Bale in them but the thing that sucks about the older movies is they used a different actor for each one. It’s like they didn’t even care how good the movie is, just throw in an A-lister and people will go see it regardless.
The Punisher was awesome, too bad Jane didn’t do a sequel.

I was making the argument recently that having a human body and mind at the peak of human capability in all regards is a superpower in itself. If his strength, speed, stamina, agility, cunning, intelligence are all maxed out within human bounds, isn’t that combo a super power in and of itself?
Having all those abilities withing human bounds has got to be at least as good as having 1 ability beyond human bounds and others average/below average.
