Batman, without a doubt.

Forget the whole ‘self made man’ stuff (which is inspirational on its own)… when I tell people he’s my favorite super hero, I always hear “but he doesn’t have super powers!”… well, lemme say that his super power is that he’s smarter than everyone else. Always 3 steps ahead… that’s a damn cool power if you ask me. Any obstacle?! He’ll always find a way to overcome… ALWAYS.

I was making the argument recently that having a human body and mind at the peak of human capability in all regards is a superpower in itself. If his strength, speed, stamina, agility, cunning, intelligence are all maxed out within human bounds, isn’t that combo a super power in and of itself?

Having all those abilities withing human bounds has got to be at least as good as having 1 ability beyond human bounds and others average/below average.
If exceeding human bounds qualifies one to be superhero, my vote is in for Nikola Tesla.

The man controlled lightning and caused earthquakes using science!

Silver Surfer is pretty cool. The whole idea of being able to travel through space without a ship is badass.
Namor the Sub-Mariner: the ONLY goldenage superhero to consistently beat the hulk and thor. never gets his props

Thrasher - regarding the older Batman movies …

Michael Keaton played the bat in 2 of them (Batman and Batman returns).

He wasn’t exactly an “A-lister” and actually was considered the best actor to dawn the cowl by many.

So yeah, your wrong.

Looks like somebody has the mental capacity of Absorbing man … ZING!

I was gonna post a pic for you, but you talked shit about Thor. So its a no go.

Namor beating Thor= Shenanigans
Namor beating Hulk= Shenanigans

I would like to see this guy get his own movie rather than a Wolverine sequel. Wolverine isn’t horrible ( I would love to have his powers) but he is overused.

Shenanigans.

Aside from Batman my two favorite as a kid were Deaths Head and Lobo, although they weren’t really superheros.

Edit: Oh yesh, and the Punisher. Frank Castle’s the shit.

I gotta say its hard to top frank castle, no compromise just kicks ass and takes shit from nobody, granted he aint got no superpowers and is not the conventional hero type. he is the epitimy of resolution.

Favorite Superhero…?

OK, haven’t seen one of these in a while.
Mine’s pretty obvious.
I a big fan colossus because of his “slow to fight” attitude.
A big bastard that’s nice as a box o’ kittens.
Post em’ w/ explanation.
True.

But, we saw a totally different Colossus in the AoA storyline. Hell, he ended up killing Kitty inadvertantly, because he lost his temper…
Ahhhh, I knew one of you fuckers would show up.
I thought she was lost in space from some crazy thing trin to split the earth open.
Plus, he sacrificed himself to cure all the mutants with the unstable cure Beast made.
(thats what my avatar is all about)
“Ahhhh, I knew one of you fuckers would show up”? What does that mean?

Yeah, they’ve put him in some odd situations for some reason… Maybe to spice up his laid-back nature. Who knows…

Personally, i’m a fan.

It was Batman for me…but now, I think the movie version of Tony Stark gave me a new favorite (assuming they don’t fuck up the sequel).

I like the real human beings who stand out as elite because of their hard work and creativity. I think of myself that way.

Wow X, Me and you have the same favorite Super Hero. It’s so cool that YOU and I share this common trait. I bet it means we are super alike and someday I’ll probably be as big as you, you know cause we both like Ironman the best. I’m so happy, I gotta go brag to my buddies that You and I are like twins separated at birth. I can Haz Hug Plz?

p.s. I’m not black but I tan well.

DC wrote a story where this man beat Superman. And then was beat by Wolverine in a DC vs Marvel comic. Sadness.

Superman, there’s something about ripping your shirt with a big ol’ S beneath.
