This show had potential…but it’s like it fell short.

Correction…it started out great and then got really really redundant. He never found all of those treasures and they never advanced the story all that much.
It is like they came up with a really great concept and then never pushed the idea to its limits.

You ever see the spoof cartoon network did? Where they go we have the final episdoe of Pirates and the tape is erased? Pirates had the same problem as firefly, they never showed the episodes in sequnece

It was a toy first, then the cartoon. 80’s and 90’s was the time of the perfect marketing ploy…make a toy, create a cartoon to promote the toy and throw in a commercial or two featuring the toy for good measure.
