Favorite Childhood Cartoon

Heathcliff

Used to love Muppet Babies when I was a tiny guy.

I’m starting to realize that my local TV stations played a lot of 60’s cartoons re-runs in the 70s and 80s…

Here’s a couple more favs that come to mind:

Clutch Cargo:

Space Angel (picture) and Clutch cargo were really weird in that they were semi-animated, but with real mouth/lip movement… Freaky

Also, the late 60’s/early 70’s SpiderMan was just the best of the lot (IMO). Spider Man! Spider Man! Friendly neighborhood Spider Man!

I liked Spiderman, Loony Tunes, and Speed Racer.

jpb

Flintstones
The Jetsons
G.I. Joe
Heathcliff
He-Man
Hong Kong Phooey
Ninja Turtles
Chipmunks
Simpsons or however the fuck u spell it!
You know what, I even watch the damn Carebears!
Inspecter Gajet or whatever that shit was!
Transformers

Though I was too young/not nerdy enough to get into the actual game, my sisters and I def enjoyed the cartoon version of Dungeons and Dragons. Also, good call to those who brough up MASK and Heathcliff, lol.

I used to love the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon. I can’t remember though, did they ever make it home? It seems like every time they did, there was some reason why they had to go back.

No wonder you young punks are as fucked up as you are, growing up with that garbage.

Now get off my lawn![/quote]

Looney tunes ruled. I don’t care what anyone says. As did Tom and Jerry/

And don’t forget it was also on at 3:30 on weekdays, too.

I saw someone also mentioned Muppet Babies. Another good one.

I totally forgot about Tom&Jerry. One of my all time fav. cartoons! Looney Tunes was good too.

Bugs Bunney is another one.
Tuff Draw Mcgraw?

Starblazers and Battle of the Planets (G-Force) were just fucking awesome! But they still can’t surpass Looney Tunes for shear fucking greatness. BTW, AV, I had that Godzilla toy when I was in 1st grade. Took the damn thing everywhere.

I don’t think they ever made it back home to stay…and frankly, after gaining super powers, why the fuck did they want to go back home so bad anyway? Junior high was going to be more exiting than being dumped into another world by an enchanted roller coaster ride where they become game characters?

These days, I look at “Uni” the baby Unicorn, and think “Veal”.
