I am trying to lean out and lose 15 lbs of fat. To do so I am following t-dawg 2.0 and doing 3 fullbody w/o a week some times add an extra day of isolation work. Does the workout plan look good?
this is my first lean out plan so any advice is appreciated.
fri:6x4
1.db bench press
2.t-bar row
3.db decline press
4.1 arm db row
5.leg press
6.db stiff leg deadlift
I also have 2 questions is it better to keep the whole w/o with a certain rep/set scheme or instead mix it up within the w/o. Second question I often times on saturdays do some isolation work like curls, lateral raises, and tricep pulldowns would it be better to instead to a little after every w/o or leave it for saturday?
As discussed on your post from yesterday asking a similar question, I think this is fine, but ultimately, it’s your body, and you do what’s best for you. Try it different ways for a few weeks and see what is good. I would recommend changing it every few weeks to keep your body guessing.
On the second question, I would do all the work on Saturday. That way, your body is fresh and you can maximize your lifts IMO.

One of the better splits I have seen posted around in awhile actually. What I would do on Friday is change the leg press for front squats for too many reasons to count. But besides that, looks solid. But the header to your article says fat loss plan. I think over time you could see some good fat loss with this, but you should add at least 2 days of energy expenditure there. Maybe a day of 400’s and a day of sledghammer stuff or intervals…

thanks…that is true I just noticed that I kept the leg press it used to be a 4x12 w/o, I think I will change it to front squats and about the cardio I do 2 hit sessions a week might do a day of steady walking/jogging if a feel like a I need it.
He could be right. Try doing the back squats on friday and the front squats on wednesday, or ditching the front squats alltogether and just do single leg stuff on wednesday. The deadlift and squat days being so close wont really be optimal for recovery.
