thanks!!! i know… i’m all svelt and shit. i caught a glimpse of the mythical ab again this morning. i need to get a pair of night vision googles. it appears that the ab is a nocturnal beast that runs away when light is present.
Putting 725 pounds in you hands and moving it over your body is fucking reckless and stupid, awesome work.

thanks guys!!! i’m think’n of hitting an 800lb reverse band squat tomorrow. it’s all of 800 at the top but drops off to about 675 at the bottom. i hit 765 this past week. do you think that’s over stepping it?? it’s the last day of this squat cycle.

I say go for it.
Off topic, I got a question for you MM: should your floor press be higher than your bench, or the other way around? I have heard differing opinions of this. My best bench is 360lbs raw, while my best floor press is 340lbs. Any input?
I say never let your Dogma override your Karma!
If your feeling it go for it! I seen the video of your 765 and you crushed it, I think you are good for 800.

i guess it really depends on how strict you do your floor press. i do floor press with legs out straight, flat back, narrow(er) grip, really tuck the elbows and pause at the floor. my floor press is about 50lbs behind my full ROM bench. i could see how it could be closer or even more if one was to keep their feet on the floor, arch into it and bounce their upper arms off the floor.
if done in my opinion, the correct way, there’s no way it could be higher. you have no leg drive, no arch and no stretch reflex.
what’s the worst that could happen? you’re in a power rack after all. Biggest concern is how are you gong to fit enough hex plates on the damn bar.
on a side note I know of one situation where a floor press can be stronger than a bench: when your shoulders are fucked.
Dude, if I drive down to Virgina, can I slap you?
Just freaking incredible lifting here. I watch those 700+ pound squats and benches, and I can feel myself getting all tight and anxious just watching!!! I’m like, growling with you while your lifting!
Awesome.
