Oh, not to hijack, nice bench vid Colin, is that a Fury or F6 your wearing?
Meat,
Really good stuff. I am truly impressed.
Barry you crack me up Big Brother!
Pete it’s a fury I brought about 4 years ago. I tried the denim and just couldn’t get it to work.

i think we all, sometimes, forget where we are. this forum is the one of the only places where you can pretty much count on the fact that no one is trolling. if we were to get a troll they would be hung out to dry very quickly. Colin, I’m sure you know already but guys like Steve are very supportive. We all support each other around here. it’s a great place to be in this internet world of mama’s basement bad boys.
that was a kick ass bench vid by the way.
A couple of corrections here. I am a troll. Like a real one, that should probably be living under a bridge. Thank goodness a kind woman took pity of me and made me purchase a home, told me to remove my ear hair, and stand more upright…
Also, I have it on good authority Eco’s real name is Vanessa, she is 22, 5 foot 6, 122 pounds, blonde,36-24-36, and just really digs fat, sweaty, middle-aged guys that like to move iron…
Sorry Steve, couldn’t resist…[/quote]
I wondered how long I could pull this bald, hairy guy disguise off. When do you think we could get together?
Eco, I am, um, deeply, um, disturbed.

Nice pressing meat… have a great holiday.
squat day- still roll’n on the reverse band. dare i say i’ll up these to 800 in two weeks. should be fun walking out.
reverse band squats
335x4
425x3
515x3
605x1
695x1
765x1 + 20 lb PR- this felt better than last weeks 745.
hack squats- long pause and no hands for support-these were brutal in the hole. you really have to force the knees out on the way down to keep the hips tight. otherwise you have no power to get out of there. it really teaches you to get and stay tight.
2plates x 3
4plates x 3
6plates x 3
8plates x 3
10plates x 3
time to eat some turkey. bodyweight is 258.
Nice effen skwattin’ buddy. Have a great turkey day.
Great job on the squats, Meat! Have a great Turkey Day!
thanks guys. i really appreciate the support and well wishes. you guys do the same.
Holy shit!!! that is all

Impressive. I wish we had a hack squat at the gym I train at. Youre an inspiration MM, keep it up.
Impressive as always, Meat. I just wanted to say thanks for all your help and your contributions to this cite. We all appreciate it. Happy Thanksgiving!

0 x 15
135 x 15
185 x 10
225 x 30 + 4 rep PR. haven’t done these in awhile. i didn’t feel as explosive but i definitely have more strength
super set
dumbell curls - cable wrist curls
60’s x 20 x 3 some x 30 x 3
super set
standing calf - seated calf
some x 20 x 5 some x 20 x 5

that’s very nice of you to say… but you should really pick a better looking hero:)
seriously though, i’m noth’n special.
International Bench Night- had to hit it up tonight instead of tomorrow. back was a little sore from accessory day saturday but it didn’t hold me back. I’m definitely getting close to topping out on the reverse band bench. i really hit a wall about 6 inches from lockout. it’s like the band tension lets go and i am suddenly holding what feels like a ton. next week will be interesting… it’s the last week of the cycle. I’ll be happy with a 10lb PR from this week.
reverse band bench
315x6
405x4
495x2
585x1
675x1
725x1 + 20lb PR
flat back, feet up, long pause bench
225x1
315x1
405x1
475x1x2 + 10lb PR- I hit this twice. my training partner forgot to give me the count on the first set. after about five seconds i pressed and then he touched the bar. as we all know, once you touch the bar it doesn’t count. therefore i had to do it again. this vid is the second set.
schwabs
315x3
415x3 + 10lb PR
315x13
that’s it. feel’n good and after a four day weekend, i’m down to 256. as long as i keep getting stronger i’m happy.
