full ROM - warmup
135x10
225x10
315x6
405x4
495x3
585x1
655xnope… i’m using a new technique of grip and rip. i setup all wrong and grabbed the bar way off center. i let off instead of straining against it. need more practice…
elevated deads- these are always tough for me but these felt really good tonight. i’ll up my top set by 50lbs next week.
405x3
495x3
585x3
675x3
seated overhead press
0x10
135x10
225x6
335x5- left a couple reps in the tank. this was 20lb jump from last week. i’ll up it to 355 next week and try to keep the reps the same.
standing alternating dumbell curls
40’s x 6
60’s x 6
90’s x 6- video card filled up. only got the first couple. i’ll move up to the 100’s next week.

The weight loss doesn’t seem to be costing you any strength. That’s - what? - 15 lbs down now?
a little over two weeks ago i was almost 285. it wasn’t good. i can already see my gut getting smaller. i haven’t seen any negatives yet. my lower back isn’t cramping when i walk more than two steps. so that’s good.
it was easier to get into postion for deads tonight but as the gut gets smaller it’s harder to judge how close to get to the bar. i ran into that tonight. i was way too close and off center on my 655 pull.
Nice work as per usual.
I thought it was cray when you guys bench what I pull.
OK double what I pull
I think its funnier when you can OH press what lots of people squat.

This brings up an interesting question…which I’ll post on your feedback thread.
Woo hoo, firewall down so I can view videos! Nice work. Question for you, do you ever have a problem with the plates mis-setting when pulling with those octangular plates?

thanks hoss!! i hate the octangular plates. that’s why i put the round bumper plate on first. it’s about a 1/4 inch bigger and keeps the crappy eight sided ones from touching.

Meat, what are you eating?? When I drop weight like that I turn into a weak pussy.
i’m not counting calories at all. all i’ve changed is i cut out most of the refined sugar, fried/processed foods. everything i’m eating now is as close to natural as possible.
warmup- full ROM bench with competition commands and pause
0x10
135x10
225x10
315x4
405x2
455x1
490x1
working sets- RE bench- touch and go
455x4 + 2 rep PR
455x3
455x3
burn out set
315x20- i thought i would be good for 30 or so, but after all the working sets fatigue set in fast. one of these days i’ll try 315 when i’m totally fresh.
Don’t let him fool you. Meat actually eats like a hummingbird.
A gigantic, carnivorous hummingbird whose wingbeats knock over the prey item and suck all the air from it’s lungs causing a meat-implosion and breaking all the bones so that chewing and digestion is easier.
170 skinless boneless chicken breasts, and a gallon of strawberry shake. That’s what I call clean eatin’
actually, i bought some buffalo burger yesterday. supposed to be good for you, good fatty acid profile and lean protein. Quite yummy, but takes a little longer to cook than regular hamburger. but its not bad half raw like that either.
So, are you doing the olympia along with the PL meet in vegas this fall?

i know you are joking:) I’m an average powerlifter and was an average bodybuilder. i’m only competing against my inner demons…and if i can get an elite equipped total along the way, i’ll be happy.

So, how low are you going to take your weight long term? you said something about competing around 259?
i plan to get down to 250, then compete at 242. that’s the plan. i had a cheat day yesterday and now i’m weighing 267. i’m sure it’s all bloat from the sodium… at least i hope.
Not only are you much stronger then me, now you also weigh less. At least before I could make myself feel better by knowing you were heavier then I was. Next I’ll find out you’re better looking then me and have bigger appendages.
