Fast/Slow Twitch In Same Workout?

Is it advisable and would it aid growth, to train the same exercise in two different ways, during the same workout?

For instance, the bench press: 3x4-6 and then 2x15

And so on, for exercises like Military Press, Squat, Dips, Pull Ups…

I remember reading an Eric Cressey or Mike Robertson (maybe it was Thib ?) article describing how the fast AND slow twitch muscles were hit with low reps and high weight.

Maybe it was Waterbury ?
