Well, last night was deadlift night and it went pretty well (10x5)
Thismorning I got up, no problems, bent down to pick something up and “BAM”, my back went into spasms. I stood up and could not
turn my upperbody or bend my back without pain.
As I was getting ready for work, I saw the old foam roller in the corner and thought I would give it a try–arms crossed over chest–rolling from scapula to lower back-center and left and right side. Well I felt 50% better, full mobility (still with some stiffness). I plan to give it a more thorough go after work.
Just wanted to let people know, that if you have a roller sitting in the corner like I do, not only can it help prevent injuries it can help clear them up.
(minor ones, that is)
