What is a good relative strength training program? I don’t mind putting on weight, but since I want to get as “explosive” as possible(, I’d like to say fairly light while getting as strong as possible. Should I stay within the 1-3 rep range all the time?
Staying in the 1-3 range all the time is not such a good idea. It’s too taxing. If your goal is relative strength, though, it’s probably best to stay at 8 or under 85 or 90% of the time.
3x3 or something similar might be good for you.
