Can a female start training, and then develop her chest.
Then once satisfied with the increase in muscularity and definition, just stop training the chest? The aim is that all the muscle gained will turn to fat which will result in bigger boobs.
Any science to this? Serious question. I have a female friend who asked and I don’t want to demotivate her, but that is her prime reason she started training… to increase her boob size without surgery.

A million percent no.
How old is this girl and what kind of shape is she in (pudgy/curvy/choose your adjective, average-ish, works out a bit, in great shape, etc.)?
Sorry, boobs are just fat. Wonderful, fantastic, mesmerizing pockets of fat. And when women train hard and eat right, they sometimes tend to lose them. Some trainers believe developing a woman’s pec muscles can sort of act as a “natural breast lift”, by increasing muscle tone around the breasts, but that’s about as close as you’re gonna get.
Well that and the whole thing about how every single woman who builds strength and muscle and loses fat with smart training and smart nutrition ends up looking and feeling phenomenally better than those who don’t.
Eh, there are supposed natural supplements and the like that help increase breast size. No idea how well they work, but they work by altering your hormones so I’m sure there will be some effect.
But since they alter your hormones, I’m sure there are some nasty side-effects if you’re not careful. Just because they come from “natural” shit, doesn’t mean that it’s any good for you.

I think the hormone thing magick was talking about might be a safer alternative to soy.

She showed me Japanese websites of shaping/exercising/manipulating the breasts to increase size, but it didn’t look viable.
jjackkrash, she doesn’t want surgery.

Thanks I will relay this information to her. She’s 25, training for less than a year.
Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s anything she can really do that will be effective short of surgery. I understand how frustrating it can be trying to buy clothes (dresses especially) in this situation. She’s only what, 5’1? 5’2? That makes it doubly hard.
The sooner you can get her to stop thinking about the things she can’t really change in the gym (breast size) to the things she can (arms, back, legs, ass) the better. She already has a nice base to work with but working on those areas can make her look even sexier.
Personally, I’d have her focus mainly on deep high-bar squats, and romanian deadlifts, making sure that there’s plenty of focus on the glutes and hamstrings for both exercises, adjusting form and exercise selection as necessary. And if she’s not already comfortable in heels, to get some practice. Basically, try and get her thinking “sexy legs and a perky butt = hot”.
I’d also look at her posture when sitting and standing to make sure she doesn’t hunch over. If she does, I’d work on some corrective exercises for that; rows, facepulls, etc. The more her shoulders are pulled back and chest pointed upwards, the ‘bigger’ she will look in most situations. There’s a lot that can be done with posture.
Just some ideas, from having known and dated a few petite girls, Asian girls, and petite Asian girls.
If she’s only 95lb, just gaining a bit of weight (up to 115lb? Though I don’t know her height) will certainly help. Added calories and some natural supplements/hormones meant to stimulate female secondary sexual characteristics (basically either just outright estrogen/other female sex hormones or supplements meant to promote a greater production of female sex hormones) will probably do something to her breast size.
Ask her what her mother and female relatives’ breast sizes are though, because breast size is mostly genetic.
Think positive here. Pec cleavage is pretty and it won’t get in the way of her golf swing.
Adding muscle under the breast tissue can add thickness, but if she leans out she’ll likely loose more of the fat there. Focusing on delts can help give an illusion of an hourglass figure.
The more you train and the leaner you get, the less you have. You have perky pecs with very little on them.
Your friend has a very petite build and I would be surprised if she got big boobs. For her I’d recommend gym socks in the bra. I only say that because I’m in the same boat.
