What is a “Smith Reverse Grip Inverted Row”?
Its one of the exercises in “Titan Training
Serious Growth IV” from Optimum Training Systems. It’s one of the exercises in the Arms Specialization section. The description is a little vague. It says it’s a “Body-through-space” exercise and to pull up a little higher on the chest than pull-ups and to keep the hips up and knees bent. What the…???
I think you’re going to get in a Smith machine(although a squat/power rack might work) and set the bar at about hip level, depending on arm length. Lay down on your back with your chest right below the bar, this is probably variable, grip the bar and pull yourself up in a rowing fashion. So as opposed to a prone row or bent-over row where you pull the weight up, you’re going to pull your body up to the bar, this is where the “inverted” comes in, it’s like a pull-up only your feet are out in front of ya.
