I wanted to know if this is common. I have a pretty big chest and I’m fairly strong in chest too but there is one problem. It’s quite fatty…It’s not very solid. I’ve never done steroids and I wouldn’t say I have bitch tits or anything but I do have a good amount of fat on it and I’m wondering how to lean my chest up for a chisled look. I train chest once a week very intensely and I’ve been dieting for about two months and it really hasnt went down. Anyone know whats going on?
Well, you can’t spot reduce as you probably know. Most men can store fat easily on their chests, just like on their love handle area. Sucks. Keep dieting and you’ll probably get rid of it. Building bigger pecs should help a little too.
I’ve seen very obese men who lose weight have to eventually get lipo to get rid of the pockets of fat stored there. They were really obese before though.
Keep dieting and you still won’t lose fat in your chest. This is a hormonal issue. You need to address this issue from this angle. You are obviously producing too much estrogen. Get rid of the estrogen problem by diminishing your levels and gauranteed the fat from your problem area will be solved.
Were you raised on SOY??? Argh! Soy strikes again! Do you eat alot of SOY??? I would like to know…
Pete “Yes I’m serious” man
That can be a problem too loopfit, but I don’t think everyone with stubborn fat areas has a hormone problem. This can simply be a problem of being very fat, then losing it but having pockets of leftover fat. I think I’ve read somethng about this being associated with receptor sites but I’m not sure of the terminology.
TLC or the Discovery channel is always doing shows on this, guys losing 100 pounds then having to have plastic surgery to get rid of stretched skin and pockets of fat that dieting could never reach.
I’m not talking about gyno, but storage of fat around the breast area in men. Very common, and not always an estrogen issue, but that’s worth looking into if the problem persists and a person has other signs.
is the fat localised around the nipple or over the whole pectoral muscle?
If its around the nipple then it could be hormonal. there is an article by Cy that deals with taking anti-e’s to reduce existing gyno. do a search im sure you’ll find it.
if its just locailsed fat mass then you may not see definition coming through till the single digit BF%. The first cuts usually appear at the sterum…
