Everyone's Long Term Goals?

I want to make it to 175lbs. That doesn’t sound that impressive but at 5’5 that’d be pretty massive. Pretty much I want to be so big that even tall people get out of my way on the sidewalk.

I want to be 5% bodyfat at 200-215lbs at 5’8", and be every bit as strong as I look.

Personally, I’d like to be around 250-60 with 10% percent bodyfat, at 5’10, with the ability to hit competition shape at 225-230. I’d like to be able to bench/squat/dead atleast 400-500-600 at a minimum, hoping that I’d be able to get closer to 5-6-7

i want to get more into athletics and powerlifting. since in a few years i do not want to be doing twenty sets per muscle to see results

?

There isn’t a picture I can show you for my goals, cuz I want to squash every human who ever lifted. I want to Squat 1800, dead 2140, bench 1455, clean and jerk 1215, BW+ somehow strap 500 pounds to me to do pull ups.

heh, aim high… might get 1/3 of the way there and still have accomplished a fuck load.

Its a longshot, but I know it can happen.

My fiancee thinks I’ve got a great body even though I look like a slob. I just dont want to let her down on the big day.

finally going to have sex…

just remember it happens some times to men the first time… not me ever… but some men.

What are you goals from here to that big day? What would be not letting her down?

What are your plans to get to them?

Very concrete, I bet you have solid plans for this goals already.

Heres some of my long term lifting goals

Overhead Squat - Body Weight 240-250lbs
Front Squat - 200 kilos/ 440 lbs 1RM
Back Squat - 2X BW (480-500lbs) ATG
Deadlift - 500 lbs
Power Clean - 250lbs
1 Arm DB Press - 125 lb DB’s for Reps
Military Press - 200+lbs
Dips - BW + BW (240 lbs weighted dips for reps)

Challenging? Yea. But then I wouldn’t have it any other way:) By the time I actually accomplish these, I will be a BEAST.
Very inspiring. And woow if you get like that, it would be a MASSIVE accomplishment.

I want more brains than muscle and more muscle than fat.

by the way I want my muscles to Rule… Markus Ruhl.
Basically I want to be as big and as lean as I can get naturally. If I had to give you a description…see my avatar. It’s not likely I’ll get as big as Arnold without using some gear, but getting as close as I can to his physique naturally is basically my goal and I won’t stop till I get there and when I get there…I still won’t stop.

The funny thing is that when you become freakingly strong you won’t be able to have avoided some good size gains.

I aint complaining about size when it comes, but when your goal is strength, it makes lifting a whole lot more easier because you have much more specific and measurable means to gauge your progress in comparision to bodybuilding. Actually I posted some of my long term goals in my blog which Ill repost here again - some of which are quite ambitous

ATG Squat (Double BW = 480-500)
Weighted Chins (BW +180-200 x 1 Perfect Rep)
Weighted Dips (BW + 240 x 1)
OH Squat BW (OH BW (230-240) x 1
Power Clean/Squat Clean - 250-300
Deadlift 500 x 1 or DL Rack Pulls from just above the knee for 600
Pinch Grip 50-60 lbs for 45 Seconds
Farmers Walks with 150 lb DB’s each hand for 1 Minute
DB 1 Arm Press 125 x 1

Currently 240 lbs, 6’7

I’m 6’2", 195 lbs, at 12% BF (down from 245lbs, 25%+ last year). Long term, I want the BF below 10%, weight above 210. Athletically, I want to move up to the top amatuer class (and be competitive) in Highland Games. Still a long way to go there. That will involve technique improvements, of course, but also adding some real brute strength.

By christmas i want:

Bench: 120kg for 8 reps
Squat: 140kg for 8 reps
Deadlift: 180kg for 8 reps

These lifts rock bottom minimum. I will reach these no matter what. If I don’t I will commit suicide, by loading a bar with 120kg and doing squats until I die.

hard core… film it, post it so we all can see you go out in a blaze of puke…

solid

My goals are
405 Bench for 5x5
405 squat with flawless form atg
500 Deadlift w/o straps
Perfect my form on the BB Row

I have been stuck on 315 on the bench for ages same problem with 405 on the squat.

Last but not least
Eat More Frequently!!!

Damn man, I just wanna rock my tux like Senor Cutler.

At 5’11" 185 I’d like to stay lean (high single digits BF) through the summer while retaining mass and move into a bulking phase come mid-August. Ideally I’d like to get to around 200 lbs with a low double digit BF to add lean mass.

In terms of lifts, 300lb Bench, 225 incline, 450+ deadlift, 350lb squat. I believe these are all attainable (increase of about 25% over my current numbers). I’ll be looking forward to eating big to accompany these big lifts.

Probably will use some combo of 5x5, 10x3 programs from CT & CW in the bulking period to keep things interesting.
