Ever Had an Affair Outside Marriage?

OP come the fuck on.

You have been a member of a fitness website for a decade.

Why don’t you just put her on a standard calorie cut diet?

She could lose 30-40 so easily just by cutting out some junk and doing some walking.

If she is embarrassed or something buy her a treadmill.

Once she has lost that amount she will have some impetus.

This shit really is not fucking hard.

If you come back with she has deep pyschological problems etc then obviously you must be culpable.

She wasn’t a ham planet before she met you so you must be an insufferable bastard.

Either way you could give her an extremely easy diet and exercise plan.

Again you have been a member here for a fucking decade - make her write a food diary for a week then show her how to cut calories then make her walk a mile AM and a mile PM.

It will fall off.

I don’t mean this to be rude, but rather informative…
It’s because you don’t understand depression.

Depression can take over and run your life, and it’s not as simple as just “snapping out of it”.

Part of the reason it is so stigmatized is because people think it just akin to being upset or sad, and it can be conquered easily with a small amount of willpower.

Being upset should never be confused with depression.

how does working 40+ hours a week make someone fat? logic says it would do the opposite…

any defense of fat people is laughable… they aren’t fat because they are stressed… they aren’t fat because they feel bad about themselves…

they are fat because they shovel loads of shit down their gullets every meal of every day and don’t exercise… this is science people… calories in > calories out = weight gain.
As a former Fat guy and friends with depression. Yes its calories in and calories out, however

its never an easy fix.
what’s so hard about eating right and exercising? this is what is wrong with you fat people lol… you are shoulder-deep in denial.

you overcomplicate the issue so much that it seems like it’s impossible to overcome… so you give up, but pat yourself on the back for trying and treat yourself to some cinnabuns
When you are depressed/stressed the last thing on your mind is, “should I eat veggies or this ice cream.”

It’s also hard when Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz, or the U.S. gov say eat 300g of carbs a day, avoid fats, protein will give you kidney failure. The OPs wife probably has no clue what is ideal to eat.
People dont get to 300 lbs because they were being conscious of what they were eating. You really think this woman kept Dr. Oz and the U.S. government in mind when ordering her triple stacker with bacon from wendys?

This is the key, “ill never understand.” You right because you don’t understand you comdemn. All I’m saying is you and I don’t know. It’s not an excuse. I’m not making an excuse for her. She is unhealthy. I’m pointing out it’s not always just a matter of being lazy. I’m sure that’s part of it.

I’ll give you a similiar, personal example. My wife suffers from anxiety attacks. I do not understand this at all. They just happen and no matter how hard I try I just cannot get why she’s so upset, what sets her off, how to help, etc…My instincts are like girl you need to just chill the fuck out and relax. But the attacks are REAL to her and can be bad. They are better now, she’s taken meds in the past.

My point is I may not understand it, but it’s still REAL.

Maybe i dont. Ive felt pretty damn low at times. Ive never sacrificed my health because of it though.

When I read the OP this was my impression:

Woman works 40+ hours a week (probably for $12 an hour), comes home cooks (take out 5 nights a week, cleans, and take care of kids. OP sits on coach all day while collecting unemployment, doesn’t help her AT ALL, and spends his free time wondering why his wife got so fat and if he should cheat on her.

OP am I wrong?

The OP can not control his wife’s behavior. He can’t make her diet, can’t make her make better food choices, and can’t make her more physically active. In fact, she may very well resent any attempts to do so as controlling. Which they are.

“Honey, I love you very much but because of the weight you’ve put on since we first met, I’m not as sexually attracted to you as I was at first. I’d really love for us to get back to that point, and if you feel the same way, what can I do to support you?”

Anyways, honestly OP, if you dont love her anymore, and you refuse to consider divorce, and she disgusts you, then fuck it, why not? Another bleeding heart.

She is “depressed” she “works 40 hours” she has “kids”

Literally hundreds of millions of people do this stuff and are fine.

A 300lb woman is morbidly obese.

To get to that stage she has been stuffing about 10 thousand calories down her cake hole per day for years.

How can you sympathise with that? It is pathetic.

She has kids and a husband and should take some responsibilty.

She is an adult.

This is the same shit as she is “addicted” to food and “addiction is a disease.”

It is this sort of thing that has made America the land of the lard.

No one needs to take responsibilty cos they are depressed or addicted.

All she needs to do is walk on a treadmill a mile AM and a mile PM and cut down a TINY bit on the food and ahe would lose fuckloads of weight.

That is not difficult.

She is not in bed with terminal cancer she is just a lazy pig.
