Does someone want to explain the horse thing? Are you just talking about your wang or what? I haven’t been venturing anywhere except TK and Peter North’s spunk. (:

I just had a pure protien bar, why are those things so chewy and hard?
I had it because my meals are sitting in a bag in my kitchen, yeah for slow mornings. The options included the protien bar, a bagel with fake butter or PB, donuts, or a special k bar. What would you guys have picked. I considered bagel with pb, but wasn’t sure.
Im not gonna watch that vid with muh kid in the room, sheesh…
Hey, how long do you think it takes cottage cheese to digest? I almost always have it and fruit pre-training.

You need more protein
or to stop doing new things.

It’s really not as bad as that picture makes it look. You could just click play and then scroll away from the video, it’s the song that’s important.

The amazing horse has provided endless entertainment at work. You can’t say amazing now though because it will incite singing and laughing. Which really confuses some people who don’t think it’s funny.

awhile, that is why people eat it before bed.
Curds & whey man, so the liquid goes quick, it is the chunks that take time
I need more protien for sure, but those are my current what’s at work since I forgot my food at home options.
The doms are from db swings, I’d never done them before. New things hurt.

See, sometimes I’m a smart cookie
I can’t stand the Sup & nut forum sometimes, but I go there to pain myself still…
Peas is nasty
So if my primary goal is a smaller number on the scale, should I even think about where I need to add more muscle, or even building strength? Shouldn’t I just do complexes/ cardio? Should I keep the 5x5 I have been doing, or is my time best spent by replacing that with cardio?

The smart and caffinated folks can answer that.
I’m just here to be surly, then I have to get going.
So, “suuuurrrrlll”

The only problem I have with this is that a “smaller number on the scale” is the goal of someone who knows nothing about body composition. It’s an irrational number. If your goal is a lower number on the scale, buy a scale with a dial and turn the dial back 20 lbs. Easy, goal met.
Now a goal of a certain BF% or even a set of bodypart measurements would be a more rational goal. After all, you could just lose bone density and have your scale wieght go down, or add fat and lose muscle and have your scale weight go down.
My wife views the scale the same way, she gets fixated on the number flashing up at her like it somehow effetcs who she is as a person, when in reality, all she has to do is look up and into the mirror and she can really see who she is. The scale could say the exact same thing and two different versions of the same person could be looking in the mirror.

Couldn’t have said it better myself and I my gf does the same thing. Me on the other hand have stayed a constant 187 on the scale the last month and a half but my body composition has visibly changed (haven’t gotten any measurements yet, but soon) to the point my gf was commenting on how much “weight” i’ve lost just last night. I thought it was funny when I pointed out I haven’t lost any weight at all just fat. She just rolled her eyes and said “whatever.”
Anyways, spot on Vege, but peas still suck

IMHO you should never, ever lose focus on trying to get stronger.
You won’t have major strength increase because you will be eating at a deficit, but if all you do is cardio, you are going to lose just as much muscle as fat, making your cut ultimately pointless.
You will look “thinner” but your body composition will still be the same, which will lead you to be unsatisfied.
Just look around at all the house wife’s and meek men on the treadmill for hours a day, how many people do you see, that avoid the free weights, actually look good in their workout cloths? Now how many meat heads, that are never on the treadmill, look hot in their shirts?

Stop generalizing, I know you like sugar snap peas and the black eyed peas, you just don’t like canned green peas. Be specific. ![]()
