Ever Been Crippled By Indecision?

I have done a lot of good training in my day, but my one big regret is that my progress was often impaired by indecision. I couldn't decide whether I wanted to keep sprinting competitively (fun but a hopeless cause), try to become an elite mid-distance runner (a long shot but a possibility), or quit track altogether and get into other forms of physical training. I ended up doing a little bit of everything, and that was cool, but I ended up never making as much progress as I could have in any one area. Even though I still can't decide which one I woulda picked.

Everytime I have ever gone to the video store to rent a movie.

any time i do anything at all. Honestly, you should see me pick food at restaurants. Hopeless.

Which woman to stay with long term, I stay with the one who is most persistent. The right choice? ehhh…

I have the same problem with training. I get too excited about different programs that I find online, or my goals will shift from strength to hypertrophy and back. I also have this problem to a large degree when I buy beer. For some reason it takes me ages to decide on a beer when I go grocery shopping, even though I always end up buying the same thing anyway.

When I think about bulking or cutting.

Every time I read a “Choose Your Own Adventure” book.

Soup or Salad sir?
I’ll have the salad.
no wait wait, come back!

sigh that is the story of the soup that got away

Sun’s coming up and I can’t decide
To spill my emotions or keep them inside

I’m not sure.

How much difference does it make?

At least you manage to pick a restaurant…

Breakfast.

Eggs with meat of my choice, or eggs with peanut butter.

Easy - gotta be eggs with meat of your choice AND peanut butter. The only problem is what to eat it off, Jamie, Olesya, Seasiren, B-3 …

I’d rather eat off the plate, then I won’t get charged with mashing and stabbing a woman to death with a fork trying to scramble peanut butter with eggs.

Right. There are places you might be “admitted”.

Anyways… I think we all suffer this to some degree… and that is only because many things have something good to offer(or less bad, in the case of renting a movie) like hypertrophy vs. strength. etc.
