Epinephrine Pre-Workout Experience

I’ve been cursed with asthma most of my life, and have dutifully carried my inhaler around with me wherever I went. However, on my trip back home from college for Thanksgiving, I forgot my trusty inhaler in the locker room.

Knowing that I couldn’t get my hands on some more Albuterol in time, I went to the store to find some OTC inhaler. I found one, and noted that the main ingredient was epinephrine. Thank God I had seen “Crank” two days before, so I knew what this was. I suddenly had an ingenious ideas: Why not pump myself full of artificial adrenaline before my workout? Brilliant idea, no?

Wrong. I took 5 inhalations, about 1.1mgs of epinephrine along with my pre-workout stimulant of RPM. I was WAAAAY overstimmed. Today was an ME Deadlift day, and I was sweating like a pig, and shaking like the Cowardly Lion. Normally I’m good to pull 405 for a couple of sets on my ME day, but today I had a hard time pulling 395.

I’m going to try it again, without the RPM, and a little less dosage. It seems like a good idea in theory, and I’m going to try and perfect it. Anyone have any tips on dosage?
