Just couldn’t get it all the way up this morning. Tried both bars and I can still pull better with the lil one. Pretty sure it would have went if I would have eaten a twp plates of spaghetti…:smirk: Not too disappointed tho, considering I have been spending more time trying to get my bench up. My left side is where the failure occurred. So, I need to bring this back into balance.

The events of the week didn’t help matters. My washer quit (and the fixed itself :pensive:) and the heater core went out in the pickup, and one tire keeps losing air. Had to stop and bypass that shit which put me even more behind than usual.

But on a brighter note Santa came in his big brown sleigh! Mom even gave him cookies…:joy:

I know it doesn’t really count but yes, I can pull 200 with it :wink:

I love my mom! And daddy git me some sissy mittens because I wore a blister in the palm of my hand with the tiller last weekend.

Just screwing around this morning.

I actually did a few sprints 50%

Figured out I can push press at least 65 but strict press only 55. Must work on this. Long ways to go in this one.
Worked up to a decent 135 squat. Then 145 and I got skeered, I know I didn’t reach depth, but definitely think it was there. Loaded the bar up with 180 (which was my actual goal)for the first time ever. To my surprise I unracked it with no problem, multiple times. Lower the rack and tried again. No problem. :smiley: (This made for about a half squat.)
I was beating myself up the last few days for failing to hit my goals. When I reracked the 180 I was :laughing:
I didn’t fail shit! I have come a looong way baby since April. The only lift that I haven’t really improved on is the MP.
Now, I just have to settle down and keep on working. I need to figure out how the rebuild my rack where it takes up less room, or actually buy one, so It will have adjustments :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I recommend a can of fix-a-flat for the truck tire. How bad was the heater core leak? Did you try a dose of the aluminum power radiator sealer?

I have seen that do wonders on leaks. Like last week on the suburban radiator :slight_smile:

Thanks 2 busy. I just need to find the hole and plug the tire. Probably just a mesquite thorn. Just been too cold in the mornings to deal with it, now it’s warm and awful :smirk:

The heater core puked ALL the anitfreeze out in the floorboards, so it will probably have to be replaced. Grrr! It has have a tiny leak for years, guess it decided to finally let go. I can’t complain the lil truck has been a damn good one. It has 177,000+ miles on it so… it’s time. :slight_smile:

That’s getting up there.

My Sub is closing in on 400,000.

Wow! I have had two suburbans and have kicked myself in the ass for selling the last one. It started giving me problems and I needed the money. Had brand new crate motor in it.

Was being lazy this morning and just ran out of time. We got a couple new additions to our lil family for Christmas, so it will take a bit to get settled into a routine. That was to be expected. But! He actually liked what I got him this year! Yay me!

Loaded/ uloaded and reassembled a bowflex and weider strength system. Replaced the wax ring on my mom’s toilet. That was enough today.

Just want add… Since I really like this forum and the people who make it, I ordered some Metabolic Drive. Because hey, if you are going to buy the stuff anyway, it would be best to support them. It arrived today. The following statement is in NO way about the product, but more of a testament to my weirdness. I like to try new things so shortly after I got home I whipped me up a shake. Just the MD and water. OMG! What was I thinking. I know better. When I find something that works, why do I screw with? The minute it hit my tongue I instantly regretted my decision to buy it. I went ahead and choked it down, only to break out in a sweat and double over with goosebumps popping out on my body. Two hours later, I still feel like hurling. Appearently it has something in it my body does not like. Damn it! Why do I have to be so fucking weird? I don’t know if it’s the sweetener or what. The last time I bought some with whey isolate and casein mixed together it did the same thing. I just figured it was the other brand. I guess not. Just me. It only took me a year to finish the other kind. Maybe I can do this in six months. I will try again tomorrow, maybe throw some stuff in it. :+1:
