Just catching up. Bench definitely is improving. Keep working on it. The bench isn’t ideal for you having to put your ass in between the pads.
Are you planning on fixing your power rack? I have an extra flat bench designed to be placed in a rack I can ship to you if you get a rack to bench out of.

That’s kind of funny you mentioned the toe thing. I’ve been doing rehabby stuff (BW squats, lunges, etc) and when I take my toes out of action (by lifting them up), my glute doesn’t hurt as much. I’m a bit wobbly though, but I can also engage my glute better too.
Hmmm… interesting. I have done that with step ups, but have never tried it with lunges. Maybe I should. At one time I got to where I could do them pretty good, but dropped them, because I’m a dumb ass.
Thank you Master OG! Last Sunday I finally got time to get the new plastic up and a bunch of things straightened up. Still have a ways to go, but definitely a better than it was.
