Energy Booster?

I always feel fatigued and sleepy, even though I meant get 12 hours of sleep the night before. I tried a lot of things, eating organic and nutritious food, implementing a weightlifting workout (rippoetoe’s 5x5), consuming ZMA before sleeping, and even meditating.

Any supplemental recommendations?

I suspect your life style is causing this??
You need to give more info.
How long have you had this problem?
Have you made any big changes in your life?
Stress?? Overtraining?..

Exactly. Answer those questions. And 12 hours of sleep is too much.

Well right now I’m in my senior year of college. I’m quite stressed out with all the college apps and school work. Any relaxation methods you recommend to relief stress? I’ve tried yoga breathing but that somehow make me tick at the smallest things.

as said, 12 hrs is too much. If I get more than 9 I’m lethargic most of the day.

Stay away from caffiene. It throws off your adrenals and will have your mental energy in the dumps on the non caffeine days.

Keep your energy levels bouncing back and forth in a low range. If caffeine is consumed, it will give your a high and then give you a low low.

Keep eating right, get consistant sleep.
