Emily's About-Time Training Log

I told my husband on Wednesday "Emily’s phone has got to be blowing up today. " Lol

I understand. Everyone likes your and Emily’s posts though. I don’t think anyone here long term tries to piss off others intentionally.

I know I irritate certain posters but it is what it is. I think it just gets too much because of the constant “well women think” and " women want". Meanwhile I’m over here being a woman and thinking, nope, no I don’t. Why are we thinking this is a woman thing? Maybe it’s just an asshole thing that some women do? No? Oh. I must just be a woman without a place amongst women.

I know I dont. I might sometimes, but its not intentional nerve touching. Or stomping.

Facebook. I stay in touch with friends and family, but not reality. Its no good there. Telling sign was when they removed fact checking and implemented AI profiles. Fact/truth checking and AI can’t exist within the same system.

Sorry Emily. I will keep this out of your thread moving forward. :face_blowing_a_kiss:

No! It’s fine. I like the conversation.

I’ll respond later.

Maybe more accurate to say I need the conversation!

Ok. I just didn’t want to bring something that you were actively trying to avoid into your log. Lol. I enjoy these conversations as well.

Still Friday

1.5 mile walk. Not as far as we wanted to go, but Luka the Rapist ran to catch up. I’ve always taken him back home, but they were behaving-ish, so I was going to just let him follow (Louie is leashed). But then his mom came off-and-on running to catch us, so I turned around and brought them to her. We chatted for maybe ten minutes (usually I’m too hatted and earbudded, but it was nice enough for both of us to have our ears out). Anyway, so we turned back to the walk again, but it was getting dark so we didn’t go far.

Oh, and we have company coming, so I will be reporting bad behavior.

Two and a bit mile walk. It was snowing and 22 degrees. I was cold on the way out, hot on the way back.

Husband is making pancakes and bacon, I’ll do some eggs to go with. I also had a protein shake to reduce temptation.

Company is here from Barcelona along with stepdaughter and our granddaughter, and it should be a lovely snowy day of coziness.

I would imagine I’ll walk Louie again later.

I know it’s winter but when I read your posts, it’s always snowing!

I always imagine you live in Siberia or something. :joy:

Ha, almost Siberia - I live in the mountains in northern New England.

Still Saturday

Another 2 miles. Painfully slow because of husband’s knee and Barcelona’s picture taking, but it’s snowing really prettily and was amazing out. Perfect.

I have DOMS from yesterday’s workout, but as paint ‘n’ sip ‘n’ snack at home is next up, the pain is expected to ease shortly.

I often picture it as an epic adventure- a girl and her dog, trudging through the cragged and austere frozen north.

And cozy blankets & stuff.

Here is what we have wrought. DOMS are gone.

I like the little one on the right, and second from the left. :+1:.

Actually, the paintings, all but the one with the red house, which is husband’s and looks like coastal Italy to me - on a snowy day - look a bit like where we live. We chose it because of our snowy walk.

Two mile walk.

Whose pictures did I pick?

I like those ones because they’re more calming to me than the others.

I figured there must be some relation to the surroundings. It looks what I imagine to be very north eastey.

I like them all for different reasons, however the far left speaks to me.
