CG Max day 17/50 - stability ball rollouts (do not like these), single-arm diagonal sweeps, heel elevated squats, lateral and frontal raises, rear delt rows, all low weight high rep - with a 15 min/1 mile cardio warmup. It went fine, but nothing to write home about.

Weight is coming back down, as expected.

Not much to report, just a 2 mile walk with the dog, but I’m feeling happy and motivated enough that I wanted to report in. My weight is back to pre-vacation, though tonight the family starts moving in for the week, with a birthday party on Thursday and probably ice cream most days. I’m hoping the retatrutide helps with the train wreck this will probably be, but if not I’m feeling nicely secure in that I can undo damage pretty easily by simply getting back to normal afterward.

CG Max day 18/50 - banded hip thrusts, upright rows, banded RDLs, pullovers, rear step lunges, flies, diamond presses - with 2 mi warmup walk. This started hard, but got better as I went. We have beautiful weather here today, dry and 58 during my walk, so Louie and I both enjoyed that.

I’m not positive of the weight I put above, but I think it’s accurate. My device didn’t record it this morning, so it could be off. Doesn’t matter, I guess. 151 or 152.

Vacation was AWESOME. I worked out 3 times between adventures, and I feel good about that, but my eating was pretty terrible with the family here. Ice cream and chips and bologna and frozen pizza and such. We started the week off well, but…then switched away from the eat well strategy. We stayed up too late.

However, the bad food and drinks were tasty, and I’ve been in an ocean, a lake, and a river over the past couple of weeks. We were in the water most days this week.

I’m liking the way my body looks, particularly as I have a little tan now.

CG Max day 19/50 full body - high squats, bent over rows, bridges, pushups, fwd tilt bulgarian lunges, hammer presses, frontal raises - with a 2 mile warmup walk.

Didn’t feel great today, not sure why. Could be last night’s bestie dinner w/ moderate wine, could be yesterday’s increase in retatrutide. Could be the retatrutide is messing with the wine response - I’ve read that this can be the case. At any rate, I’m still enjoying the program.

CG Max day 20/50 - 3 circuits, plank hollow walk, hips up and down, reverse crunch, diagonal lat raise, lying overhead tricep extension, tricep press, concentration and hammer curl, banded walk and squats - with a 2 mile warmup dog walk. I particularly enjoy these supersets; everything moves so quickly.

I forgot to come back and post yesterday’s second 2 mi walk. Depending on how the day shapes up, I may do it again. We’ll see.

CG Max day 21/50 - static lunges, chest presses, pullovers, RDL’s, around the worlds, hip thrusts, diamond presses - GREAT workout. Slow and heavier than we often do, and I felt strong. 2 mile walk with Louie for warmup.

My husband left this morning promising the dog that tomorrow they’re going together to get our land ready for this weekend’s big camping party. I know they’ll make an early start, and the dog will be exhausted after a day running free. No need for our morning walk.

And now my first appointment for tomorrow has canceled - so I can sleep until 6 and STILL have time to do a warmup and weights!

I’m pretty chuffed about it.

Wow! You’re 4 seasons fun, but your spring/summers are really da bomb!

And get this - Sunday we’re going tubing before everyone disperses.

However, these Big Funs are not ideal for those of us who are trying to eat right and work out on a consistent schedule. It’s better suited for those of us who want to remain weak and flubbery forever. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

But tomorrow will be a good workout day and I should be able to make it four for the week.

I think your activity level is a saving grace. Lots of outdoorsy active activities. Of course the food goes along with it, but the activity level is definitely a buffer.

So this is a test then. Let’s see what you got!!! :slightly_smiling_face:

When i was prepping for a show my friends that I raced sailboats with invited me to dinner when I was 3 weeks out. I showed up, ordered ice water with lemon and proceeded to pull out a tupperware with my meal while thwy all shoved fried shit in there face and drank beers. That was extremely difficult but i knew that’s what needed to happen and it actually gave me a lot of confidence going forward to do things that are important to me rather than what the fatties are doing. Not saying bring a tupperware of food but you get the picture.
You got this!!

I love the commitment here, and probably showing my ignorance when it comes to getting ripped, but couldn’t you have just ordered something off the menu and adjusted it to suit.

I was a couple weeks out fom a bodybuilding show. Def not. Food needed to be 100% controlled.
