Iron day 2/30 - upper body - 10 minute cardio warmup. I’m a little worried about what tomorrow is going to bring, because I’m already feeling yesterday’s legs day, and usually DOMS come in the afternoon of the day following the workout. But I guess that’s what you get when you take four weeks off! I know today’s workout is going to be just as bad. I can already tell it’s going to be difficult to lift my coffee out of the car’s cup holder tomorrow.
Still, I’m feeling very glad not to be worrying over NOT doing it, and I continue to enjoy the program - even more so now that I’m familiar and can pay less attention to her and more to my mind-muscle connection.
Iron day 4/30 - full body - 15 minute/1 mile cardio warmup. I loved this one - all circuits, and the time flew, probably because lunges are followed by chest press is followed by push press is followed by elevated heel squats, etc, so a lot of shifting stuff around during the 30 second break.
Power outage here since Saturday afternoon, so no workout, unless maybe some yoga.
Mostly I’m reading. We don’t have cell service where I live, so it cuts us off completely. We’re out provisioning now (restaurant breakfast). Yesterday was a rest day, so NBD, but as much as I like the occasional candlelit night, I’m growing weary of it now.
Iron day 5/30 partial - arms - 15 minute/1 mile cardio warmup. The power flickered AGAIN during it and I had to abort as it takes forever for our WiFi to reset and tv to pick it up…and this without knowing if it was done flickering. I’ll try to finish it later.
Very good. I’m ready to resurrect my website now - have pics of the office, etc - but I’m a little worried it will overload me. Same thing concerning letting the social worker at the high school know I can see kids under 18 again. This is the first week I’ve been able to keep it to my three desired days.
Yes, it seems so. During yesterday’s workout was the last time it flickered, though I was at work, so who knows.
We’re expecting another snow-sleet-ice thing tonight, which hopefully won’t crash it all again. It’s astonishing the amount of snow we can take without batting an eye, but throw some ice on the trees and power lines and that’s it, we’re done.
I’m still prepping, but there’s still the issue with snacking. I’ve really pushed this week to get protein higher than I have been - exceeding 1g/pd - but so far it hasn’t stopped me wanting grapes or popcorn.
