Good on the diet. I am glad I do not have one of those watches. It would be screaming when I put my Beats on.
We gotta have our jams!
And mine need to be loud enough to be heard over a 20-year-old treadmill and my heavy breathing.
No signs of increased irritability yet! Nope, none at all.
No, none! Husband is probably happy to have a sub-1300kcal wife!

Weight 156.7 +1.1
Iron day 4/30 - full body - 15 min/1 mi cardio warmup. Went fast! Feeling good. Bummed about the scale, but ignoring as best I can.
It see-saws like that. Up one, down 2,3, up 1, etc. The last gasp of homeostasis.

I know, I know. Could also be the increase in calories over the past few days as hunger has set in. ![]()
You gotta feed the machine!
I used to clock miles per calories and all kinds of stuff way back when, but the long & short (in my Humble! opinion
) is that you need cals. to burn cals.
So you’re doing good.
. ← thats a shoulders hug, not a waiste hug. There’s a difference!

Weight still climbing.
Treadmill walk, 33 minutes 2 miles.
Felt like myself today and really enjoyed the time with my body, howling along to the music. I was tempted to run, but didn’t, as my understanding is that zone 2 should be prioritized, and running pushes me past Z2 very quickly.
Preach. Z2 is sooo slow. Everyday I’m shuff-a-lin slow.

Weight 156.1 (week -.1, since start -1.9)
Average calories 1412
Iron day 4/30 - arms, abs, core - 5 min cardio warmup. My arms are trashed; it’s hard to type!
Yesterday, continued: 1.5 mile slog through 6-8" of snow. It was maybe 18°, so Buttons was getting cold and we had to take her home. Also, it’s time to get the snowshoes out. There’s a layer of packed snow that Buttons is standing on, and we’re doing that stupid break-through thing that makes walking all weird and awkward. Three steps on the top layer, then boom! down three extra inches. But oh my goodness was it beautiful. We don’t get a ton of sunny days in winter.
That is beautiful. Whats not to love in that winter wonderland?

Also, random factoid- Jackson Pollocks splash paints had the sme fractal patterns and density as the aspen grove behind his studio.
.
The sun beaming through the trees there is amazing.

Weight 155.9
Just under 2 hours cross country skiing in the mountains. My shoulders and abs, which I worked yesterday, are screaming. I probably fell 5 times. But another day of beautiful snowy joy. Today was cloudy with flurries.
I realized just now, after reflecting on this for a day, that I should become a famous painter!
Thats a good idea! I’d have done something like that but my true love is hitting steel with a hammer and getting burned all the time.
I’ve always been a fan of Escher and Dali.

@SkyzykS I think I would like to be a famous painter in the tradition of Van Gogh. ![]()
