I am building a rack and ordering the spot pins and J-cups from Elitefts. I have been told that each rack in different. I am wondering if anyone with a rack from Elitefts could tell me the hole diameter, the pin diameter on the J-cup, and the pin diameter of the spot pins (rod and pin style.) Also which model your rack is.

I have a 4x4 and the hole diameter is 3/4’'. I am pretty sure this is the same rack you use for the build a rack but to be sure, you should just call or email them.
I also have a Signature Monolift on the way. This is not helpful for you, I am just bragging.
What do you have for spot pins?
I own the 2x2 rack from EFS. My rack holes are all 3/4". The pin and J-Cup pin size is 5/8". I have an EFS 4x4 rack at work, in our “fitness facility” and it has 3/4" holes in the rack, the spot pins and J-cups are 5/8" as well only the J-cups are made for the 4x4 tubing obviously. I believe that the spot pins are exactly the same on both racks as this would make sense from a builders stand point not having to fabricate many different things.

(semi thread jack)- what ever happened to that fiberglass squat bar they had for testing? the one that whips around like a bandbell bar? that thing looked crazy.
That seems logical to me to make all EFS standard hole sizes and pin diameter. I spoke to someone there last week and he is getting me the info. It is just coming rather slowly. He already told me that every rack was different. He may have meant other companies (that would make sense to me.) He gave me the diameter of the spot pin saying it was 7/8. So that is not matching what you have. It seem pretty simple, I just need to know that size to make the hole in my rack. The difficult part is I am trying to build Tuesday and can’t wait several weeks until the stuff arrives so I know what size it is for sure.
7/8", That’s odd. Every EFS rack I have ever used ( Mine, the one at work, the ones at Brute strength gym, has had the 3/4 holes in the racks themselves. The spot pins are all 5/8 and all the accessories IE dip stations, pulling stands, jump platform are all built off the J-cups with the 5/8 pins.
The racks have band pegs. The band pegs are 1" and the holes are 1 1/16". It will be interesting to see where this 7/8" figure come from. Call williams strength systems. That’s who builds all of EFS’ stuff. They will probably tell you.
