I just now finished reading the “shoe” thread. It took me several days, reading it in chunks. I was going to reply there until I clicked on EB’s profile and found this thread.
Eliteballa, if, after all that, you can continue to post here, learn something, work earnestly and honestly and make some GOOD decisions for yourself…
and if, after all that, the people of this website can accept you (at least give you the opportunity – and breathing space – to prove yourself) and actually help you out…
then my faith in humanity in general and the T-Nation community in particular just got a huge shot in the arm. Little Miracles Everywhere.
I hope to God you are really and truly clean – you were doing a huge disservice to yourself (not to mention any future Mrs. Balla or possible Little Ballas) by treating your body like a roach motel.
Since you’re a balla, you might be interested in this thread:

I would pay particular attention to what Squat Dr. has to say – I’d also click on his profile if I were you, and match up what you read there with his accomplishments.
I think I read somewhere that you’ve got some injuries, too (though it is hard to remember everything from the 30 pages of the other thread). If that’s so, you might take some of the money you’re not spending on pharma now and buy yourself a Magnificent Mobility DVD or the Inside-Out Warmup (think of it as a preventative):
(scroll to the bottom of the page).
I’d also click on Eric Cressey’s and Mike Robertson’s names in the Authors area – they have lots of articles on injury prevention to get you started.
Good luck to you – may you prosper on the court and with the honies, learn from adversity, and develop a solid character and self-esteem along the way.
Live long and prosper, EB3. Seriously, good luck to you in everything.
-Feist
P.S. Mufasa, the adoption papers came through: EB3 is now officially your responsibility on this site. This is a sacred charge. Do us proud, Papa.
P.P.S. EB3, might I suggest “Simba” as a fitting, new screename? It is fitting in many ways:
-as a tribute to your new Pop
-as symbolic of your new attitude and willingness to learn
-as symbolic of your growth potential
Of course, if you want to stay ‘eliteballa3’, so be it – you don’t have to be anyone else’s cartoon. You make your own destiny, and over time, through your actions, choose what your name will come to mean.
