Elbow bursitis aspiration - return to lifting

Hello, I will ask, if somebody had this injury and how fast after this procedure have you returned to working out? I had medium bursae from overuse (bad technique, not infection) and my Doctor said to me, that I can´t lift for three months…
Thank’s for your answer, and sorry for my bad English…

@makovickapetr , The chances bursitis comes back are very high - if you do not change the bad technique, but also for a while after the aspiration. The inflammation in the bursa can be self-promoting and needs time to go away.

In the meantime, to speed healing and prepare yourself for full speed again:

  1. Work on the mobility of the elbow, shoulder, and thoracic spine
  2. Work on isometric strength for joint mechanics and to maintain the strength you have and maybe even build some while you heal.
  3. Use contrast therapy - 2x hot water bath for 5min to ice water bath for 5 min - end on cold.
  4. Stock up and use Micellar Curcumin
Micellar Curcumin - 95x Greater Absorption Vs. Piperine Formulas – T Nation Biotest
  5. Arnica and Bromelain are wonderful for swelling and can speed tissue healing too.
