Efervescent creatine

Is effervescent creatine any more effective than regular powdered creatine? Any personal experiences?

I haven’t found it to be any more effective, just more expensive.

It maybe more effective for people who do not respond to powder creatine.

I like it. I believe from the research it is more completely and quickly absorbed. I like the fact that I dont have to use as much, as a result. Works fine for me.

The major advantage, in my opinion, is that there’s no scooping, no stirring, no mixing – just tear open a packet, dump it in a glass of water, and FIZZZZ! VERY easy to travel with.

As ol’ Dan said, just put it in warm, 110 degree water and shake it up, then mix with whatever you want to drive it into the muscles. It is nearly insoluble at room or gut temperature, and absorption should be damn good when completely dissolved. I suspect that stomach ittitation is caused by the undissolved stuff just sitting there.

Not more effective, just easier on the stomach. I can’t take regular creatine (it has a laxative effect), but the effervescent variety does not bother me at all.
