Hi,
I’m giving a try to EDT system.
I find it very good and “different” to my usual training system.
Here a bit of info about me:
I train with a splitted routine.
Usually I employ a high intensity approach (i start with heavy sets around 90%RM of a multijoint followed by a “secondary movement” and then a “pumping” set with isolation movement).
I switched to EDT last week (i’m at the end of week 2 of 6).
Here is my EDT plan (20’ Zones, 10’ Rest):
Day1:
Chest+Biceps
(BP+DB Curl/Cable cross over + DB hammer curl)
Day2:
Shoulder+Calf
(DB military press + standing calf rise/arnold lateral rise+seated calf rise)
Day3: Rest
Day4:
Back+Triceps
(chin-up + decline bench french press / DB Row + cable pull down)
Day5:
Quad+Hamstring
(leg press + stiff leg. DL / Leg Extension + Leg Curl)
Day6:
Abs+Low back
(“Rocky style abs”+Good Morning / Crunch + HyperExtension)
Day7: Rest
My PR:
BP 160kg 1RM
SQ 190kg 1RM (ATG) 230kg 1RM(“PL”)
DL 160kg 4RM (Sumo)
ChinUp bw+31kg 5RM (130kg)
Now… the question ![]()
I would like to know if it is possible to rotate the exercise among weeks. For example I’m thinking to change BP with Inclined BP, or DB Curl with BB curl… something like this.
It is a good idea? or I should complete the 6 weeks and “then” do again with different exercise?
