We are sexy damnit dont be a hater.

Mkay - so I concentrated on keeping my balls towards the bar (what do wimmenz concentrate on?), and it seems that my back and but stay down better, specially on the 2nd and 3rd lift.

315 went up so smooth, that i decided to go for 365, and upon further reflection, probably could have increased the weight, but I am trying to listen to the old wise man in my head, and not the kid who says go-for-it and then spends the rest of the month sitting on an icepak.

oh well -

this should be a better angle, any suggestions?

Right as you start the pull, you’re pitching forward a little. Pull back. Not up. Looks like the bar is moving a bit right before your pull starts, maybe from your shins hitting it and pushing it forward? Literally drag the bar up your legs. You’re wearing pants, don’t be afraid to hurt your tender little ginger shins.

kthx.

I can’t give advice cause my form is less than stellar, BUT I can say if you trained at my gym you’d be one of my fave dudes to say hi to and ask how your day is going.

I have a few of em like that. They’re good dudes, you’d fit in smashingly…

I’m really not very fuzzy, follically impaired, actually.

btw - used that blue shit on my knees and elbows prior to that DL - made an enormous difference.

thanks for giving me the heads up.

you’re awesome.

^No worries. As you said earlier that shit is some kinda black magic elixir. Just don’t let it get near your pant potatoes.

Edgy!!!

Started lurking in here and saw that you had a log. Good stuff!!

Started cutting out the wheat/gluten, myself. So, it’s interesting to see how you’re doing with it.

[/quote]

wassup Tigger?

Glad to have you around, what are your reasons for the gluten-free gig? and how is it working for you?

Been doing it for almost a week, and so far i’ve been sleeping a little better. I’m not getting up to pee as much, either. That’s the most noticeable thing, so far.

I read the couple of threads about wheat allergies and some of the symptoms sounded like they applied to me. Especially, the bloated stomach. I go through periods where I have a pretty flat stomach, then others where i’m just bloated horribly and it’s really started to bug me.

What about you?

you mean my pulling, or the fact that I do have pants on?

I had some stomach issues, especially when I drink beer, and I had equated that to the wheat in the beer. sometimes it would be a problem, and sometimes not - hard to tell.

I do sleep more sound, but I also am able to concentrate better and it seems like my moods have stabilized, not that there were any real problems with those things before, but it is noticeable. i think.

anyway - since I had some problems putting on my pants this weekend, I’ve decided to go carb-free for the next month or so to see about dropping some BF. it works for me, and I think the issue that I have had in the past with carb-free is that I stay on it too long. this time I plan on being on if for 4 weeks, then back to a regular diet for 3 weeks, then back on the carb free for another 4 weeks.

that should get me down to 12-15% BF, around 115-120 lbs. I’d be okay with that.

^ 115-120 pounds? Are you going full cancer Aids victim?

oops - I meant 215-220.

I guess that would be significant, no?

you look to be on your toes a bit on those pulls. what kind of shoes are you wearing? usually that is due to having some sort of arched athletic shoe, vs. something flat like a chuck t or wrestling shoe. just my two cents
