Deadlifts today. It was my 3 day, my deloads do not match up btw, my deload for bench and press are next weekish and the deload for deads is the week after.
Was good day for form. I felt.
Left my notebook in the car and forgot to bring the camera with me to the gym to film my deads. Meh.
I then wanted to try out sumos
135 2, 3, bunch of singles, bunch of singles (I feel I can handle the weight well but I wanted to do singles so I could make sure I was set up properly)
Not sure about my form on this, will have to remember camera to get vid of it.
Doing the sumos tells me that my back may be my week point in my convo deads. The sumo is not as much of a back exercise as convo so I felt I could do lots more reps of these than convos.
I feel like maybe if I get my form down and maybe some knee sleeves or something to help avoid hyper extension of the knee that I could do a rep attack with sumos.
Stamina exercises for the back? Farmers walks? I think I’ll have to try these with proper runners on, a bit too jarring in the thinner soled shoes I wear for lifting.
Sprints? did 4 but they were not as awesome as yesterdays, knee sore from sumos. Over did it maybe, I get my ass lower for the sumos than the convos so more knee is used. :-/
maybe not sumos every dl day and I think no more weighted planks. Hanging leg raises instead.

Today was Sq. but as we know I’ve switched it to trap bar due to back pain. I ran this cycle of 5/3/1 w/a guess on how much I could actually pull. But I ran it anyhow. WAY to light.

Decided a few weeks ago, no way can I do direct bi work. After getting the cort shot in elbow & feeling like a million bucks I tried a few weeks ago & felt it immediately. So I figure, w/chins & pullups. Now 4 days a week, I’m good.

I would guess doing the trap one day & the DL the other w/chins & pulls in the mosh that my back might gain some size. As of yet before it’s asked, I’ve not felt any delayed type DOMS effect. Felt good every day working it this way.
I need to stay ahead of Masch & Nadia on the chins/pulls. Don’t need either one of those 2 whipping my ass. Spanking, yes. Whipping, no.
