lmao that’s exactly what i do hahaha i can’t fuckin wait. I’m curious, how many days if any do you give yourself to just eat whatever you want whenever you want? I want to enjoy myself but at the same time I want to have a really good rebound with minimal fat gain.

My usual approach would be to have whatever I want the night of the show. The next day, I would have a monstrous breakfast, and successively smaller (and less insane) meals as the day went on, until my last meal which was typically a lot more “normal”.
The folliowing day, usually a Monday following a Saturday contest, I would go back to the diet plan I had been following 2 weeks earlier, and ride that through the week. That would usually bring my insanely bloated post contest weight back into better place, and allow my sanity to return a bit.

hmmm ok sounds good i will try my best to control myself, i can just see myself snacking a bunch but that doesn’t mean i have to be snacking on cookies, but i’d like to be lol
188.8lbs today. Feeling flat and depleted again. We are adding in carbs the last 2 meals of today and all tomorrow and friday.
Today was the last day of cardio and training till the show, which consisted of mainly upper body pump work. Cant wait to carb up and hopefully fill out pretty nicely.

What he said. Seriously, it is interesting to see the before, during and after results of diet. It would be great to see you just before you start your carb up, during, and then the day of the show. Educational for the rest of us!

jesus, contest prep must really suck if you can get excited about a cup of rice!
You have no idea lol, i cant think of anything i wouldnt eat, i think being really low carb for the majority of this prep has something to do with it though, plus my diet really hasnt changed one bit besides taking out carbs so ive literally been eating the same exact foods for nearly 4 months.

fuck it, mate. You’re almost there.
Is the show this weekend?
Yup friday! Leaving in a few hrs, cant fuckin wait! Today ill be carbing up with my normal meals plus a cup of rice with every meal. Also replacing my 2 shake meals with other meals like 7oz chicken and 2oz almonds or 7oz top round with 1tbsp olive oil and spiniach, so today is going to be pretty good food wise. Ill stop drinking water before bed and also cutting out all added sodium for the day. Weigh ins are friday at 9am. After weigh ins we will add in sodium again.

Trust me, my quads lagged my torso a bit too, but the tan and the lights really make a hell of a difference. Also, seeing pics after the show will be invaluable going into an off season, knowing what you need to do improvement wise.
Now get your head in the game, admit that you did some serious work here, and have a good time.

Thanks stu! You are 100 percent right, time do do the damn thing, finally!
188.6 lbs. today, These shots were taken with 1 meal in me, had a total of 2 cups of rice last night and 1 this morning, absolutely zero pump when I shot these. Still feeling flat but today will help a lot im hoping with the rice ill be eating. There was a class going on in the room I usually take my pics so I took them here.
So i havent had any sodium today and still feeling flat and way less vascular. Is this a normal occurance? Also, for anyone thats competed, did you cut out water before the show? Because thats what im doing besides a bit of coffee but im reading how that might not be a smart idea?
