What do you consider more important? Eating enough or sleeping enough?
Ex: You have a choice between going to sleep and having 8hours of sleep but skipping a meal or eating this meal but skipping 3hours of sleep
which one would you chose and why?!

Sleep.
You don’t grow while you’re awake. Chug down a shake.
tough question, but Im going to have to say sleep. Not getting enough sleep will have a bigger impact than missing one meal (at least for me). Im interested to see what everyone else here thinks.
Sleep, I feel so much better with good sleep. I’d rather get 10 or so hours on weekends and miss a meal, its more important to me then one small meal.
Dont you feel like there’s a certain number of hours of sleep that you need but after that its preferable to have your meal?
Like, lets say you already sleep 10 hours, but you could skip a meal and sleep 12 hours, what would you chose?
eat, drink water, sleep, wake up to piss, grab a bite, go sleep more
I do have a question about this though: Is it bad for the stomach to constantly be working and digesting something?
I would never sleep 12 hours.
Just get at least 8-9 hours of sleep, eat if you can and stop wondering basic shit. It’s not rocket science.

Yes. You’ll die in 2 years.

It depends though, if your doing some hard new program or had some insane workout 12 could be good-obviously not everyday-. Also if your younger extra sleep is usually a good thing. It’s different for different people though, some can feel 100% after 6hours others might need more.
Don’t avoid your sleep, if your really tired and drained you might need a short nap or longer sleep.
Sleep is probably one of the most important things your body needs besides water. So make sure your getting enough of it.
Why would having a meal make me get three fewer hours of sleep? Do I have to chase down the chicken first?

Lol…
Lets pretend you try and eat every 2-3hours ok?!
Lets pretend you have 8 meals to eat each day
Its 1am and you just finished eating your 7th meal
Must I go on?
In that case, throw protein powder in a mixer and set it on the bathroom counter. Pound a lot of water before bed so you’ll wake up in a few hours, drink shake, go back to sleep, ???, profit!
See, i’m not asking “what should i do to eat and sleep?” im asking if you had the CHOICE between ONLY one of the two, which ONE would you chose and WHY
I’d get my 8 hrs and skip a meal if I had to choose. I get run down if I dont get enough sleep.
oh yeah, and you will die of sleep depravation before you die of hunger.
FACT
It’s a false dichotomy.
That said, sleep for me. I struggle with it enough as it is.
Bro,
Just plan ur meals at such times that u get all 8 meals within the time frame of u been awake…Rather than worrying about getting in a MEAL…worry about getting in ur nutrients…So add a bit to your other meals to get eg 300g Pro total etc. This is so you dont have to mess with ur sleep.

Really? wouldn’t you just fall asleep if you had been up for to long?
Guys the question is a hypothetical, of course you can do this and that ext to get the best of both worlds. But in the end sleep is better for the body then food.
I wouldn’t choose a 5 hour sleep over an extra meal.
Sleep will always win though. You feel like shit without enough sleep, and it affects to much other shit especially if your doing a workout.
