Iâm totally enjoying arm day. Itâs fun, not too challenging like squat or deadlifts. I donât need to get my heart rate up, and I really like the exercises.
Who doesnât like curls or triceps isolation?
Love the old arm pump. I canât âfeelâ pushdowns very well, but skull crushersâŠwhoa.
Straight arm push downs I canât either.
Rope or v bar are a yes.

Letâs see. My hip has been a little more aggravated recently. My family is all home, and working from home. We walk about 2 miles together most days. Doesnât sound like much, but itâs adding up with my training. Maybe a little less training, the walking will go away when they leave. Live in the moment.
Shouldnât the walking be some sort of active recovery though? Thought it would be better for what youâre nursing. Then again, everyone reacts a little differently
Probably if I programmed my training better it might be.
So far a work in progress.
Since Iâve had to drop intensity and go for reps and volume, all my twinges have been fading. Hip especially.
Might be worth a try.
Itâs not like my training has been particularly good recently.
My hip has been a real challenge.
Lower intensity and maybe add a little volume slowly. I suppose the skill will be in ramping down the volume as the intensity increases. That part of the equation is often a problem for me.

Going through the motions. Sometimes those days happen. If I skipped all the days I didnât want to train, I would be very inconsistent in my training. The fun is in the good days.

Strange times with the quarantine. We get a lot of seasonal activity from out of staters starting about now. Definitely a little paranoia when I see those plates on the road. We have been pretty safe and careful so far. Time will tell.
We are getting emails from our countyâs commissionerâs office in upper Wisconsin that describe the county hospitalâs 38 bed capacity and anyone using their summer residence must bring enough groceries to self quarantine for 14 days. Sizable percentage of Chicago is there in normal summers.
Nothing about suspending their exorbitant property taxes.
