Power yoga 30 minutes
Trying to stay mobile and healthy.
Dropped almost 20lbs last 3 months with the yoga.

20 lbs? I’ll have to try harder to like yoga.

I would try power yoga.
It has more traditional strength based movements like pushups and some challenging core work.
It’s easier on the joints than running, and gets the heart rate going. Easy to modify as needed.
Limited number of choices for middle aged men.
I’ve found a YouTube person who I would recommend to anyone interested.
Sean Vigue yoga for men.

Work in progress. I’m enjoying it all.

50 squat workout. Balance?

I’m still staying with a squat day, BP themed day, DL day and press day for most of my strength training days.
I’m getting plenty of body weight strength training with the power yoga ( pushups in the ā€œVinyasa flowā€) so squat day is mostly just squats, a little machine leg stuff and maybe some pullovers.
The power yoga hits pretty much everything, strength wise and has some balance and flexibility, mobility type of training. It’s strength limitations are similar to most body weight movements.
I think you would enjoy it, like your pushups with a little variety. Doesn’t take much time
