Thanks. As per your advice I will start cycling in some more shoulder work and more back work as long as a deadlift day is not too soon.

Sorry I’m getting a bit confused here. How are you doing 35 on preacher curls for 8 reps and then 30 for 8 reps on one arm concentration curls. Squats are an impressive improvement I must say. They’re a hard one for me but my deadlift seems to be more like your squat.
Anyhow, just make sure you’re keeping good form. My friend let the weight get to his head and started doing everything opposite of what he should have.

Those are barbell concentration curls that he is doing, not dumbells. Dont worry, i make sure chris is keeping good form.
Yeah those are barbell curls I will mark them as such from now on to avoid confusion. Thanks, but I do like to think that I keep pretty good form on most of my lifts.
Ah okay. Still compared to the other lifts those numbers seem a bit disproportional i guess that’s what was really confusing me.
big deadlift workout tommorow!!! hope your excited, cause i am

write damn pr, youll want to look back and see them in the future. by the way, good workout!
I think you do too much warmup. Just imo. You have more warmup reps than work reps. I usually just hammer out 135 around 8 times nice and slow to get all the muscles working then do my work sets, which this week will be like the same as yours! Deadlift race ![]()

the only real warm up set was 115. the 135 is there to get his muscles ready for the upcoming heavyer sets without quickly jumping up from 1 quick warm up set to work sets. and after that was all heavy sets.

lmao nice 100 pound PR. you probly wont eveer get to say that again
Damn I wish my maxes were that much higher than my sets. Then again you might not be training intensely enough. Because it seems your max on deadlift shouldn’t be 100 lbs over your 5rm.

this is only chris’s fourth deadlift session ever. hes still learning the form on the lift. 185 was oviously not his 5rm
