I only have dumpbells in my home gym. That and the pull-up/Dip machine let me do most of what I need. I’d like to start doing deadlifts and am looking for advice on doing them with dumbbells.
This can work just fine. I have done them as an alternative to barbell deads. Dumbbell deads are also good grip strength training. I like them for stiff-legged/Romanian deadlifts as an easy-to-setup change of pace from barbell deads. It’s a good, functional-strength exercise, too; Now, when I need to pick up my two deep-cycle batteries at home, it’s no longer a problem!
